Liberty Inn — Hotel in Monticello

It was nicer than our stay at pleasant point which is the hotel in the same intersection. The parking lot is better at Liberty and the rooms were carpet instead of hardwood and smelled better than our room at pleasant point, if you're working night shift I'd stay at Liberty because they'll clean your room while you were at work. We stay two nights at Pleasant Point and they never clean my room. Make sure you get a receipt when you check in, After my fourth night I got a call at 11 a.m. telling me I need to pay for another night when I paid for five nights with cash and did not get a receipt. Stayed here 5 months(in May)....worst hotel I've ever stayed in. People are up all times of the night with a lot of traffic. Owners have the lobby locked because it's part of where they live, you have to talk to them behind a bulletproof window, which makes the entrance where you check in at hot and muggy as hell. Had 8 fraudulent charges posted on my debit account from here. Didnt even get a room, not worth the 701.00 spent at all. EDIT: Someone from the biz replied. It's obvious someone that worked there was allowing fraudulent debit charges 5 years ago. My card company tracked it and I watched it happen on my phone whilst the block was being put in place. Whoever replied 5 years later to claim innocence, whatever, but 5 years ago this place was a stolen debit card number...
