Dollar General — Local services in Monticello

Today I went shopping for some items one specific item was a verde hot sauce. The regular price was $3.75. It was on sale for $2.00. I went to cash out , cashier charged me $3.75. I told her it was on sale. She argued with me. I said I can go check or take a picture for you. She told me I don’t have the time. After I paid, she took the item back to put on the shelf. I walked over there with her and pointed it out to her.. she didn’t say nothing and took down the sale price tag. Even though the tag said the sale was until 5-18-24. Today is 5-11-24. I thought she didn’t have the time to check. But she walks over there right after I paid. What lazy as b…ch. I’ll be contacting...

I never really have to spend a bunch of time trying to find what I need/want. Everything is pretty well laid out. Keep up the good work 👍👍

Only "negative" thing about the store, is when there is only one person working the register and it's super busy. Even then it's not (always) the person working fault. Sometimes people call out sick, don't show, quit/fired, sometimes only have so much labor, etc. I had to do it everyday at my old job. Chill people, long line....ONE person working the register...they doing their job, keep ya snippy comments...

One thing ruins the whole store: a manager with a hateful attitude. Went in to buy my kids stick on tattoos. They were posted as $1. She was checking out and on top of her bad attitude towards every customer, the tattoos rang up for $5 apiece. She even acknowledged she knew the price on the rack was $1 but refused to sell them for that price. We went to the Family Dollar right down the street where the EXACT SAME ITEMS were marked AND...
