Our experience at the New Vrindaban Palace Lodge was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and the welcoming atmosphere. The lodge provided a safe and kid-friendly environment, making it an ideal choice for families.
One of the standout features of our stay was the breathtaking view surrounding the lodge. The serene and quiet surroundings allowed us to unwind and appreciate the beauty of nature. We were enthralled by the presence of peacocks and other birds, which added a touch of magic to the entire experience.
What made our stay even more memorable was the convenience of parking right outside our cabin. This allowed us to easily attend the temple events and seamlessly transition between the lodge and the temple. It was wonderful to be able to immerse ourselves in the temple's activities while enjoying the comfort and amenities of the lodge.
We would like to express our gratitude to the staff/volunteers of the New Vrindaban for their warm hospitality and the excellent amenities provided. The combination of cleanliness, a family-friendly atmosphere, stunning views, and easy access to temple events made our stay truly unforgettable. We highly recommend the New Vrindaban Palace Lodge to anyone seeking a peaceful and enriching retreat at the...
Read moreThis place is good for a visit but if you plan to stay there, please beware! I did not have a great experience: Their reservation system is broken. They do not have an online reservation. When you call them to reserve a room, make sure you get the confirmation # and the person's name making the reservation. I booked a ground floor room with attached bathroom but we when we reached there, they denied that we had any reservations. We waited to talk to the manager for about an hour. Finally we gave up and accepted their downgraded rooms. We were not the only ones. There was another family who were in the same situation. I spoke with the receptionist and she told me that this happens often. I am still investigating but I see charges on my credit card that were posted a few days after our visit. They are in addition to the room charges I paid in person. I called them to speak with someone about this issue and left a voice message. If I do not hear back from them, I plan to report...
Read moreI stay at really nice places, and I enjoyed this. Its a spiritual place, and its simpler that what most of us are used to. If you think this is a Mariott, you'll be disappointed. I had a two bed private room. There are no TVs and the religion does not 'do coffee'. It has WIFI that works, and I liked the quiet. The room was clean, the people were wonderful. Really wonderful. There is a little bit of a language gap and things don't work like a Mariott, but for what it is, its really nice. Id encourage you to have this experience. I'm going back in a few weeks to get a cabin. I'd suggest three full days (2-3 nights) to visit the golden palace, attend ceremonies, and attend the yoga workshops (I strongly suggest you enroll in the program and pay for extras like the bhakti yoga). Although they are Hare Krishnas, they don't overload you with it. They are polite. Its OK to chant as a Christian... they just want you to chant. ...
