We stayed 2-nights in a cabin at Luna’s Trail Farm in Westfield, NC! It’s the perfect place to explore with family with so many places to hike, plus a fantastic on site restaurant with beautiful mountain view’s! Oakley even made friends with the little dog who was roaming the property. We can’t wait to stay here again soon! #northcarolina #lunastrailfarm #westfieldnc #visitnorthcarolina ☺️

*Photo credits to Jamie Lynn Photography* My husband and I got married in March 2022 here at the Luna's Trail venue and the whole day went by without any problems! Seriously! The weather: beautiful, the venue: beautiful, the accommodations: beautiful, the food: delicious (we got so many compliments on it). I love that you are able to choose between the two venues which one you prefer! Daniel was more than helpful in answering his cell and email answering all of our questions and allowing us to use the buildings as we needed in any shape. We used all three cabins as well as the Lodge Rooms and that was an AMAZING feature of this venue. I have a very large family and the Red Cabin and the Hanging Rock Cabin were used for them and the groomsmen stayed overnight at the Green Cabin! They loved it! My favorite feature though, was the Bridal Suite. It was very spacious and accommodated me and my large party. However, I believe if the bride and let's say 6-7 other bridesmaids were to get ready in there, it would be a little cramped. It also wasn't that amazing to have to share the bathroom with the guests that were trickling in after a long drive that saw me pre-ceremony. But overall, that is the only small criticism I have! The pictures I attached hopefully show you the potential that Luna's Trail has to offer.

We have stayed at Lunas trail twice now. While the property is beautiful, and the staff and food is amazing we did have some issues with our room this year. We have always stayed at the main lodge. Hot water was very hard to come by, most of our stay it was like warm….if that. The bathroom was quite dirty, we had to clean the shower walls off ourselves because there was a lot of hair left behind. There was also a lot of dirt left on the floor in the main living space. I wasn’t amused at the smell of cigarettes coming from next door at 3am either. All in all it’s a great place to relax and unwind….but the owner should definitely take a walk through and do some deep cleaning. Another suggestion would be to have books inside each room with local restaurants, sight seeing, maps of trails, shopping, etc. I know there is several books in the lobby with this information but for those wanting to avoid crowds it would be nice to have a set in each room. ***** Bring your own snacks and drinks the only store open late is 15 minutes away.

Wow, I'm not sure where to begin. I guess I'll start with when we first met Daniel and drove up to Luna's Trail to check out the venue last year. We looked at several venues prior to this road trip and none of them really hit all the marks for us.

It's crazy because the day we decided to meet Daniel, was the same day we were supposed to sign a contract with another venue that we were basically settling for. We didn't realize it at the time, but we're pretty sure it was fate looking back on it now.

Upon arriving at Luna's Trail we were just blown away. The property was gorgeous. We arrived early and I remember seeing a truck coming down the gravel road to the main building. It was Daniel in a ballcap just smiling away. He took us on the grand tour and honestly, between the views and his hospitality, we were pretty much sold.

Just when we thought this trip couldn't get any better, Daniel went above and beyond our expectations. I'm so glad I brought my mother and grandmother with us to check this place out. After showing us the main building Daniel said he would return shortly to take us around to the cabins. He returned in a 4-seater ATV to chauffeur us around the property.

The cabins are something straight out of Southern Living. They spared no expense and each cabin has it's own personality. The whole atmosphere is laid back and relaxing. Daniel made us feel so comfortable, almost like we had just come home. The property is insane, seriously the pictures do not do it justice. Go see it, it's worth it I promise!

As if our expectations hadn't already been exceeded, as we were leaving, Daniel let us pick blueberries, blackberries, and sent us home with 3 dozen fresh eggs from his chickens. The whole experience was just amazing.

At the end of the day there was no question that this was where we wanted to have our special day. It was probably the easiest decision we made during the planning stages of our wedding. Throughout the next year keeping in contact with Daniel was a breeze. He always responded in a timely fashion whether it be texts, emails or phone calls. Everything was pretty much taken care of including having staff on hand to assist us in any way before, during and after the wedding.

The wedding, whew. Let me tell you, the guests RAVED about this place. My wife and I were just so happy. Everything was perfect. It was just so beautiful and the venue is what really made it all come together. We will forever be grateful for making our wedding something we, and our guests, will remember forever.

Thank you, Daniel. For...

My daughter was married in the Big Creek Lodge in July and I will say that working with the staff at Luna's Trail was the BEST experience! I honestly can't think of anything that they could have done better. They were great to deal with in the planning stages and stayed available for questions and communication. We arrived early on Friday and started setting up for the reception, rehearsal dinner, and indoor ceremony. Matt, Greg and the grounds staff checked in on us many times throughout the day to make sure we had what we needed. They made sure everything was perfect for the big day. The facility itself is beautiful and very versatile and has many options for however you want to set things up. We had the rehearsal dinner and appetizer hour in the Bar, the reception in the "Sparkly Light" Room and the wedding ceremony in the Rock Room. Family and friends stayed in the rooms in the Lodge and loved them. The wedding party stayed in the cabins and they were fantastic for all the guys and girls. Don't forget the DELICIOUS food! Chef Greg and staff were so friendly to all the guests and made the whole experience magical for us all. You need to experience this place! They were very thoughtful and accommodating through the whole process. From start to finish they...
