Excellent camping facilities. Forest rangers come by three times a day to check on the campsite, so security is awesome. We stayed for three days, leaving our stuff for hours to go hike the surrounding national forest. Nothing was stolen or messed with.
Site is open year round. Electric and water hookups are available in summer. Fee required during summer and fall. Very busy during summer months. Not so much during winter. This comes at the price of average temps in the 20s - low 30s.
Raccoons will get into your food if you leave your stuff out!
