Worst place I've ever camped. This is not due to what the NPS has provided, the grounds, facilities and NPS folks are quite lovely but the visitors lacked curtacy and respect. They were very loud, shined lights all over, ran through our site over and over, crowded into spots, over board on light decor, barking dogs left tied up, car horns like it was New York traffic, one group got to their site at 10 PM and started setting up camp with their vehicle spot lights on and children screaming...

Excellent place to enjoy a usually lazy float and view some truly awesome scenery. Whether you plan to float for a couple hours or for a few days, you are guaranteed to see tons of wildlife and 200 plus foot tall cliffs that drop straight down into the river. This is what Arkansas is all about. REMINDER...check the water levels, weather forecast and plan accordingly. And don't forget that we do have a small black bear population up here in the Ozark mountains. Stay safe...

The view alone is gorgeous. The solid rock wall sets the scenery. The only thing that I wish was different was the little pebbles you have to walk onto on the land part. Wish it was sand or something because they hurt your feet in flip flops. Be sure to wear tennis shoes when walking back up and down to your car. Or water...

Whether you plan to float for a couple hours or for a few days, you are guaranteed to see tons of wildlife and 200 plus foot tall cliffs that drop straight down into the river. This is what Arkansas is all about. REMINDER...check the water levels, weather forecast and plan accordingly. And don't forget that we do have a small black bear population up here in the Ozark mountains. Stay safe and have fun!

Great place for camping restrooms are clean & well stocked showers are hot campsites have all amenities I would recommend Buffalo Point to anyone looking for a place to stay while floating/ swimming @ @ Buffalo River
