Econo Motel — Hotel in Muncie

If I could give 0 stars, I most definitely would! It's not the greatest place by no means, but with my situation it's all I can afford right now. Having said that, I have been here over a damn month, gave this lady two grand if not more, I sweep the parking lot by choice because I'm a smoker and like to keep the cigarette butts cleaned up just because I have respect like that, but this lady that obviously does not know how to run this damn place is the rudest person I've ever met in my life! She has not cleaned my room one time since ive been here, I just got a clean set of bed sheets for the first time since being here, I have to vacuum my room myself or it doesn't get vacuumed. I do believe I pay to stay here, I don't pay to do her job! And if I say anything to her she goes psycho on me! I've been helping another person with medical issues by paying for their room, and she knocked on the person's door then told me when they answered the door to come and tell them to put bed sheets on their bed and my response was "it's not my job to tell them, and its not their job to put sheets on their bed it's the job of whoever does housekeeping" which she's the one who supposedly does the cleaning that I've never seen her do! So I got treated like scum for basically telling her to do her job. I never had to clean my own place I lived at for 12 years as much as I had to clean the room I'm in my first night here! I'm only here still due to unfortunate circumstances right now and can't afford anywhere else at the moment, but if you want to be treated like trash and disrespected on the daily then be my guest and come and give this place a whirl. I don't recommend this place at all! Hell if i had a damn enemy i wouldnt even let...

I attempted to check on my elderly mother who was staying there despite my initial distrust of the area, and was lied to over the phone about her status AND in person even though her car was in sight, making me believe they'd done something to her. They refused to look at my ID for verification, refused to call her room and didn't even double-back on their lies to tell me her room number until I chose to get hostile and they realized I wouldn't be scared by the word "police."

Mine and my mother's compensation was free long distance, in return for not having any calls in actually transfer to her room.

These are the kinds of people that make others racist against Eastern immigrants. The only draw of the motel is the fact it's the only remaining one on that side; You can get more beds for cheaper elsewhere.

My husband and I only needed reservation's for 1 night due to family issues, well I checked in and my husband was meeting me after work. The manager/owner told my husband that I wasn't aloud to have any visitors (I felt like I was entering prison) after my husband squared everything away my daughter brought us some food and a change of clothes around 7pm the manger came out and started being very hostile with my daughter and us as well. So after he made my daughter leave my husband and I went to bed. Around 2am in the morning we were awaken by really loud music and door's being slammed, not only did the manger not do anything but he told me that he was going to call the police on me and my husband for having are door open. So we were made to leave after paying 50$ for a 1 night stay. I strongly urge anyone to rethink the a reservation at the Econo Motel on 29th...
