Well at 22 I finally decided to purchase a 26 ft travel trailer and this was our 1st trip with it. Easy to get to was a huge plus as I was semi nervous about them small mountain roads. We rolled in after dark but once the morning came around we got to see the place in the light of day. It was beautiful, very clean and didnt smell like sewer. Of course we had been to campsites through out the years and had seem some that were not so clean. I was very impressed with this site to say the least. Alongside from the property itself Dan was awesome. He originally said he was booked up and dint have a spot but said he had one family who he believed was going to cancel. He called us that night and said comeon up they canceled. Told him we were first time RV'ers and he said "you have nothing to worry about we have everything you need and if you have trouble with your camper give me a call and I can help you out, I live on the property". We loved it and will be back no question. We went down to his office to shake his hand and say thank you for having us. Very nice laid back simple guy. Thanks so much Dan you run a fine campground, see you in a few weeks.

We recently stayed at Blue Ridge Lodge and RV park for a family reunion. The property is fairly small with probably about 20 sites, however that is the charm about it. We stayed in a premium site that had incredibly views of the mountains. For family members that did not have an RV, they stayed offsite at the Whippoorwill Lake House. The house was lovely and had everything you could need with plenty of space and beds. It was clean and had a wonderful outdoor area and you could even see the lake from the balcony. The ONLY detail one should know is that this house is located roughly 2-3 miles from the campsites and requires a car to commute between the two. We thought it was on the same property and would be easier to go back and forth between the two, however that was just our own misunderstanding. Dan was very nice, helpful, and trustworthy and made booking a breeze over the phone. Rates were very affordable and the location can’t be beat being 10 minutes from downtown and grocery stores. I would highly recommend the sites, lodges, or lake house and as a family we’ll keep this site in mind to return again!

This spot is a legit old school spot! It only has about 15 spots (i believe). We were in #15 at the end which I suggest could be on of the best spots. Any spot is pretty much nice. No laundry facilities so keep that in mind. Wifi was a but of a challenge, but we were barely there to use. Cell (at&t) was not a problem. You are a little close to the next pad but nothing too bad. The views from here was awesome!!!. Lightning bug show was unbelievable too. Its off old 76 and 10 minutes drive to Blue Ridge and probably 25 minutes to McCaysville for kayak and tube’n. There is no playground if you are coming with kiddos. But there are plenty of outdoor activities around town to keep them busy 😊 Dan (host/manager) was very nice and helpful with things to do around. He is the only person on site that takes calls, so be prepared to call and leave a message. He will get bak to ya. Plan in advance and not last minute for this place Would definitely return to stay if passing through or just staying for 2-3 days.

I want to start by saying the gentleman that answered the phone for my reservation was extremely polite and offered insight on the property prior to arriving. Upon checking in I assume the man I met was the same person I spoke to on the phone. The customer service was excellent. The campground itself is small and the lots are better for smaller units. We have a 43' 5th wheel with a 3500 truck, long bed. The entrance to the campground is better accessed by coming in on Millholland Road. We used the WAZE APP and it took us the correct way. I would not recommend this location if your over 35' as the lots are pretty tight too. Don't get me wrong, this is a well maintained property and has some great views. The sunsets were awesome and you could watch them at a pavilion that was conveniently located. There is only 16 lots and very few full timers. There was a building near our site 6, but it was locked. I did not find a bath house, but maybe its there somewhere. There are full hookups and the internet is awesome. Site 6 is the second one on the right hand side of the site. This lot also is close to the road and the traffic can get loud. We experienced loud motorcycles. Our lot did not have a picnic table or a fire ring. In my opinion the price does not support the lack of amenities. Upon exiting the hill going down caused my trailer to hit the top of my truck bed causing significant damage...

This is a small park in a very good location close to Blue Ridge Ga. There are plenty of things to do in the downtown area. We have a 40 ft motorhome and turning into the park is somewhat challenging with a 130 degree turn required close to a brick wall. Requested site number 1 and was told it was not available for the duration of our 6 night stay. |Pros: Location. Internet was better than most. |Cons: Site we were assigned was so close to other campers slides on either side would only allow about 1 foot of clearance. | Campground is not kept clean with primarily full time (permanant) campers that do not pick up after their dogs. Difficult to step anywhere in the park without stepping in dog crap. We travel with dogs so we don't have a problem with dogs but always pick up after them. | The site we requested was vacant the entire week and never an explanation as to why we were not allowed to stay there. | Would not recommend this place unless you are "guaranteed" site number 1 as it is the only one there that is not entirely too close to other campers. | There are no working bathhouses here. Did not matter to us but be aware. Price is too high for services offered and lack of upkeep. We really loved the area but would not stay here again. ||This review applies only to the Campground as have no knowledge...
