What a nicely kept piece of history and needed preservation. It is amazing to drive over the dam to see the water nearly 200 feet over the river on the other side. It has an interesting sensation standing on the other side of so much contained water and to look up at the top of the dam from the ground but it is exciting and enjoyable.

This is a quiet place this time of year (Oct/Nov) and as the business close down it can almost seem abandoned... but it is still beautiful! You may see dear, and maybe other creatures ;) nice place to stop and relax or have a picnic.
