The Setting Inn had everything I could have hoped for in our Napa stay. Let's start with the GM David Kerr, who helped us make our reservations, checked us in, and showed us the grounds. We were so impressed with the inn and the boutiquey feeling it had. It really felt like home. The staff, including the cleaners and Carlos were kind and accommodating. There was never anything we needed that wasn't brought to us within minutes. When we checked in we were able to use their electric bikes to bike to town for lunch which was so fun on the bike path. David, the GM, set us up with some private wine tastings throughout the weekend and dinner reservations which did not disappoint. I have been to Napa a few times, but never like this. David's expertise of the area really helped us have that much better of an experience. On day 2 we did a wine tasting at the inn which was hosted by David. The wines are incredible! I'd highly recommend starting or ending with a tasting at the inn to add to your itinerary. Every morning Bouchon Bakery by Thomas Keller arrives at your door at 8:00am with pastries, croissants, fruit, and fresh squeezed OJ. In the room you have a Nespresso machine, but in the lobby they also serve some of the best coffee I have ever tasted. In the room the linens are lovely, the patios are quaint and beautiful, and each room has an amazing view of vineyards. There are common areas to sit and enjoy wine you've bought or have your coffee along with cards, board games, beautiful public restrooms, and more! Such a cool place to hang out. The gym has a Peloton and some equipment, but I did not make it there this trip! Ha! I really can't say enough about our experience at The Setting Inn, and we cannot wait to return! Try their Sauvignon Blanc!!!

Hands down the greatest experience I have ever had with a Bed and Breakfast! The Setting Inn is very charming and positioned on a beautiful small farm-like property with a lot of surprises and perks for the hotel guests. We enjoyed a wine tasting that is offered to guests only as well as a great selection of midnight snacks. They also have electric bikes that guests are allowed to borrow, free of charge which we rode throughout the Napa Valley- this may have been my favorite part of the trip outside of the wine. The man working at the front desk also was an angel and made some calls to a few wineries to help us get reservations for tastings. Without him I do not know what we would have done! We also were very impressed with the daily breakfast offerings and pleased to see hot air balloons landing in the field right outside our window. Super comfortable bed and beautiful bathrooms. I definitely recommend!

We recently had the most delightful stay at a charming Napa Valley bed & breakfast. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. We started our adventure with a tasting with Michael. The wines are Fantastic! Michael is so knowledgeable & made our first experience with Napa start off great! The cozy rooms were tastefully decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The innkeepers' hospitality was exceptional, providing personalized attention and helpful recommendations. Each morning, we were treated to a scrumptious breakfast from Bouchon Bakery. The beautiful garden and vineyard views added to the overall tranquility of the experience. Without a doubt, this bed & breakfast surpassed our expectations, creating lasting memories of a perfect Napa Valley getaway. We can't wait to come back!

I recently had the pleasure of booking a last-minute stay for my parents at The Setting Inn in Napa, and I must say, the experience exceeded all expectations. As my parents were planning to celebrate my dad's birthday over the weekend in Napa, I found myself scrambling to secure accommodation. Fortunately, I stumbled upon The Setting Inn, and it turned out to be the perfect choice.

From the moment I reached out to inquire about availability, Candice, a member of the staff, demonstrated unparalleled kindness and professionalism. Despite my last-minute request, she went out of her way to secure the last available room for my parents. Her willingness to accommodate our needs was truly appreciated, setting the tone for a remarkable experience.

I added the birthday package to our reservation, missing the 72-hour window required for ordering a cake. However, Candice didn't hesitate to offer an alternative solution. She suggested cupcakes as a substitute and assured me that it would be set up before my parents' arrival.

Imagine my surprise when, just before my parents' arrival, Candice sent me photos revealing that she had gone above and beyond. She was able to get a tres leches cake with coffee filling, precisely tailored to my dad's favorite flavors. It was evident that Candice had put thought and care into every detail, transforming a simple birthday celebration into a cherished memory.

After their check-in, my parents couldn't stop raving about their experience at The Setting Inn. They spoke highly of Candice's warm hospitality and the impeccable service. The beauty of their room only added to their delight, providing a serene retreat amidst the picturesque surroundings of Napa.

I am immensely grateful to Candice for making the entire process seamless and enjoyable. Her dedication to ensuring a memorable experience for my parents speaks volumes about the commitment to excellence at The Setting Inn. Without a doubt, I would wholeheartedly recommend this charming establishment to anyone seeking an unforgettable getaway in Napa. Thank you, Candice, for your exceptional service and for exceeding our expectations in every...

Full disclosure--I know the owner Kevin. That being said, I am aware of his experience in the hospitality industry and personal in-depth knowledge of the Napa Valley. So my expectations of his own property were pretty high. What better critic than your friends right?

First, the location is great. Yountville is about 8-10 mins away, downtown Napa to Oxbow Market is 15 mins. You're close to modern amenities(Target etc), but far enough that city lights and noise aren't a distraction. I couldn't get enough of seeing a night sky full of stars. We woke up this morning to the sounds of....NOTHING. Birds? The vineyard soaking up the sun? Amazing.

Second, the bed is the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on. Makes me reconsider my overpriced memory foam mattress I bought a few months ago! I'm not sure what sort of sinful magic they are doing but the bedding was ultra soft and I wanted to just spend all day snuggling in bed with my Nespresso (more on that in a bit) and my book.

We stayed in the Oak Knoll suite which was spacious and had a lovely porch to sit and enjoy. The room had a wet bar with a microwave, a fridge to store our leftovers and amenities such as flatware, plates and wine glasses/ water glasses/ mugs. It also had a Nespresso machine. My favorite way to make espresso without the mess. And it tastes delicious. What's not to love? I also appreciated that a fresh carton of half and half was also thoughtfully placed in the fridge along with complimentary waters and wine.

The floors in the bathroom are heated. What the what!!? I'm not ashamed to say I stood in the bathroom just to enjoy this experience. The soaking tub made me feel like a mermaid.

From L'Occitane products, the bathrobes and slippers, to the fresh Bouchon pastries and orange juice delivered every morning, the experience at NVH was incredible. The comfort and needs of guests were carefully thought out in the rooms and the amenities.

They have free WiFi, parking and can also help arrange activities and reservations if you need suggestions.

If you're looking for an elegant and comfortable getaway, I can't...
