The website says tent camping $19.95. I arrived at 10 p.m. they were closed I was late because I had a flat tire on my bicycle. I've been traveling by bicycle for two and a half years I've completed and logged over 8,000 miles. That evening the wind was at my back. And rode about 60 miles. I found where the tent camping area was in the back of the campgrounds. I set my tent up at night good intentions to stay for 7 days. In the morning when I went to pay. I was told they don't rent tent camping sites. NBD I have faced worse problems. Unfortunately because it was later in the day I'm faced with 15 mile an hour headwinds. As I was packing several other RV campers were interested about my travels. Nice people. Later this guy shows up in a dirty t-shirt it looks at my stuff . And tells me he could have me arrested for trespassing. So I asked him what right does he have to walk up to my camping area . I don't know you. I'm the owner he says as he jumps in my face. And repeating starts using the f word. In reference to me. I apologized and told him I was sorry at least 10 times. I'm shaking nervously thinking this guy is going to smash my face in. Then I asked him why he was being such a redneck. I said i was sorry. He told me to get off the property don't forget to pay before you leave. As I was leaving I went to pay and the lady told me there was no charge. I was looking forward to staying there because I met some people the night before and new people the next day that I really liked and I felt comfortable around them. And by the way the park is awesome serious enjoy the park just stay away from the owner. The second picture was my campsite.

Great park. It is probably 50% seasonal 50% regular travelers so it is more on the quiet side. Safe and clean, gated. Lots of trees providing great shade which is greatly needed in Florida. We have been here for about 2 months and no complaints. No flooding during rainy days. The office team is wonderful. They offer weekly activities. Good size pool and there is a bar as well. Small playground, sand volleyball court, shuffleboard, basketball, horseshoe, tennis and a game room with board games and other activities. Beach is about 10 minutes away. You can drive on the beach ($20 per day/$100 annual pass) or park and walk to the beach. Great restaurants and bars all around. Close to supermarkets and stores. Many public boat ramps nearby. Daytona Beach is about 25 minutes away. We will be here next year for the summer as well! Thank you for a great experience.

We enjoyed our stay. Nice long term residents, snowbirds and staff. Super cute pool and tiki bar. Excellent golf cart or bike trail. I did however give feedback at checkout. They need to do better with their lawn care and trees. The trees have been neglected for years. So, lots of falling debris. Old leaves everywhere. They need to invest time into clean up. Such a shame to have a great place and you are overlooking the obvious. LAWN AND TREE CARE…. for all sites. Permanent and overnight. Hire a tree service. The tree in front of us was loaded with TERMITES. I told the lady in the office. Termites will swarm and you could end up taking home an unwanted guest. The trees haven’t been maintained in years and years and it’s obvious.

This campground was terrible and looked so much worse in person than the website and googles photos represent.

Here's a list of reasons why I hated it (in order of how the events occurred): At check in I was charged an $18 "hotel fee." That was a first for me....and we've been camping once a month for 2+ years. The spots are extremely tight and were difficult to get into and out of. The electic pole looks almost homemade and not professionally done at all. There wasnt even a circuit breaker on the pole. Laundry was outdoors and pathetic. Oh and $2.00 per wash load (a pretty small load too!) and $1.75 to dry. Highest prices I've seen yet for laundry (at a campground). When I went into the front office to ask if my credit card could be charged in exchange for coins for laundry, the brunette lady was extemely short with me and acted like I was bothering her. (For the record, I fully expected the answer to be no, and it was, in fact, a no.) Next to laundry theres a sign that says we are not responsible for power surges. Clearly the shady electric job I witnessed earlier has caused problems in the past.... It rained pretty hard the first day we were there, and we woke up to a small river flowing through our site. I was going to complain and asked to be moved, but quickly realized I had one of the driest spots in the place. The whole place remained a Disgusting, sloppy, wet, muddy mess for our remaining 3 days. The place is full of bad dips and holes. They had the front entrance leveled/graded while we were there, but clearly that's the only part of the park they ever do. There are signs all over the place saying to pick up after your pet, but there's literally NO trash cans anywhere!!! Including the dog park. The dog park was cute, but was completely flooded and muddy. There's also a huge gap where the chainlink ends. They attempted to fix it by adding some flimsy chicken wire to the bottom, but didnt even stake it down. Even a large dog could easily push out. And to make things worse, the dog park is right on the main road which is pretty busy. Thank god my dogs don't mess with fencing, but there really needs to be a repair or some warning of this issue. Lastly, the park has a lot of full timers who don't seem to care how their site looks. It really gave the whole place a dumpy look. One camper even had empty beer boxes stacked up against the camper. Anyways, we will definitely NOT be returning to this campground. We even left a day earlier...

I have RV'd in 49 states plus Canada and have never had such an unprofessional experience as I had here! First off I'm from Florida and every year we have our "snowbirds" who book all their sites for the following year before they leave to go home, leaving the native Floridians with few choices during this time.

We drove 3 hrs to this place to pick 1 out of 3 sites they still had available 2 1/2 months earlier. We paid over $800 to secure the site for the month and they were quite accepting of our money. One week before we are to arrive they sent a nice email reminder of our upcoming reservation and for some bizarre reason a little voice said check your site #. I never do that, but quite happy I did. My site changed from a site to a dusty overflow parking spot where everyone parks their golf carts for the pool and 2 large garbage dumpsters approximately 20' away. Check your reservation reminders if you receive one, it could save you the disappointment on the day you are to excitingly arrive.

So we drove another 3 hrs to see what we could do. Luckily the woman who originally made our reservation remembered us and felt horrible that someone had done that without even notifying us and graciously refunded our money because the fine little print they sneak in saying if you cancel a monthly reservation less than 30 days prior you are just S.O.L. Thank you for being a caring and honest person, SHAME on the person(s) who done the deed.

We have had to temporarily move out of a site after making an extended reservation to accommodate the person who had already made a 30 day reservation for that particular site, then we moved back to our site when they left. They think they get you by having a clause saying they "reserve the right to change your site assignment" which generally works because most people don't have the financial means to fight it, HOWEVER they must assign you a site with equal amenities and the site must be identified as a site not overflow. The only time they would legally not be bound to that is if the original site has an unresolvable issue for the duration of your reservation stay. Carefully watch this place if making a reservation, I'm secure in believing it's quite unlikely this never or...

A nightmare I will never forget!! A place I called "home" for 9 years. Was happy at the start of my stay there but over the last couple of years has evolved into a place where I never want to experience again. Water is non drinkable and constantly being shut off for repairs. Sewer stinks terribly! Now, you are being charged for electric, wi-fi that only works occasionally and cable TV that comes and goes like the seasons in a year. Washers and dryers that are only operational if you are one of the lucky ones. You have maintenance people that just like to ride around on golf carts and side by sides and look at what needs to be done but don't want to get off their carts to do their job. They ride around drinking beer or hide outback at the maintenance shed. You have electrical issues that need to be addressed but no licensed electrician to do the repairs properly. The management only offers excuses as to their problems there and if you express your concerns they are ready to evict you on the spot. I witnessed several incidents as to the demise of all that takes place there now. It is one big cover-up for all that has taken place over the years. Going downhill quickly and not enjoyable for a family campground anymore. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE.!! Shop around for a better place. They are there!! The people that are there now and have been are well aware of all this but don't want to say anything because of the fear of being thrown out and not allowed to return even to visit friends as I was told I could not visit my friends there that I met over the past 9 years. Sounds like a dictatorship campground has evolved here to me. AGAIN, STAY AWAY FROM...
