The campground overall is okay. Sites are somewhat small and many were damp. The rangers and hosts and volunteers are very nice and the facilities are clean. The beach parking lot was very convenient. Our site, D12, was one of the worst campsites I’ve had in an Oregon State park. Tiny and basically a mud pit right on the main road with no space between us and our neighbor. More of a trailer park situation. And that was before it rained, after which it was more of a mud puddle. Walking around, it might be the worst in the D loop so you will mostly do better than this site. There are a lot of people here because the campground is pretty big at this location, so a lot more people do end up really close to you, and some of the campgrounds do not have privacy bushes.
