I've tented and RVed in this park and it is hands down my favorite place to stay, and somehow it just keeps getting better. The park managers, Terry and Michelle, are delightful to deal with. They are professional and keep the park looking fabulous. Check-in is seamless and problems are dealt with immediately. The sites are separated by well maintained hedges that create privacy while keeping with the natural aesthetic of the area. Flowers and trees create an inviting view and bring in wildlife. Most sites have some kind of ocean view with some sites being completely unobstructed. If you have a short rig, 36 is wonderful. And now with their dark sky policy, the view at night is even better. This is a quiet park where everyone seems to understand that we're here to chill and not to scream and run around and play loud music. The bathrooms/showers are clean and heated. They have full hookups and I've never had a connection issue. Seal Rock RV is a walk across the street from a wonderful beach with excellent tide pools and beautiful rocks that are great for photographing sea life and crashing waves. Can't say I'd try to swim here though. The highway can be a bit loud during the day, but in the evening the sound of the ocean will send you to sleep. It's a short drive from Newport and another one of my favorite places, Rogue Brewery. I really can't say enough about how great this park is and if you get the chance to stay here give yourself a few nights or you will be sad when you have to leave.

Seal Rocks RV Cove is okay. We stayed in a "Premium Ocean View" site. The ocean was barely visible and highway 101 was directly below the site, it was pretty noisy. Crossing the highway to get to the beach sometimes took a bit. I would recommend staying in one of the sites away from the highway - cheaper and quieter. During the 7 days we were there, we only saw 2 seals! As is with many rv parks these days there is little management presence, no office or camp store - " our cameras will see you and check you in". There are rv parks on the Oregon Coast that have easier beach access and are a bit cheaper.

I stayed here with my family for two nights. My only regret is I didn't reserve more nights! The site, #9, felt very private, the hookups were in great order, and of course the seal rock beach was just a minute away walking. I really liked the well maintained hedges around the spots, and making the paths through the property. Everyone I talked to there was very nice! Next time we plan an Oregon trip I'll definitely try to come back here again!

It's so easy to fall in love with this place. Looking for a campground that gives you ocean views, a natural feel, and a non-parking-lot-like site? This is it. Don't want to be charged for amenities you'd never use even if they had 'em? This is it.

Submitted a reservation inquiry online one night; received an email reply and phone call the next day. Originally reserved for two weeks. Was going to go to Eugene, but after seeing the RV parks there, realized Seal Rocks was a way better park for way better price so ended up staying another two weeks.

Staff and management were very nice; often out-and-about even in the rain maintaining and improving the park. No two RV sites are the same here. May seem difficult to back-in to some sites, but just ask the staff for the best approach, take your time, and it'll be fine. If you have windows on drivers side, you'll see the ocean from sites 2, 3, 4, especially if the park isn't very full.

Site 2 is crazy long and fit our 40' fifth wheel, cycle trailer, motorcycles, truck and SUV lined up in a row. Site 4 is much shorter, but fit our 40' and we parked our SUV perpendicular in front of it (truck & trailer went into overflow parking). Both sites were level, nice firepit and picnic table. Gravel under/around the RV and the rest of the site is grass. Got a bit mushy as it rained nearly everyday, but they allowed us to put our rug out. Be cautious, it can get very windy.

New, bigger fenced-in dog area is in the works. Also had cable TV! Passport America discount offered for a whole week - amazing! Wifi worked well for surfing and streaming. Poor AT&T cell service here. My iPhone had no service, husband's Windows phone had 1 bar waffling between 4G/LTE. Just a bit up Hwy 101 had multiple bars LTE so a booster may do the trick for inside the park.

We didn't notice much road noise other than the occasional semi-truck that used their loud brakes. Trees and natural shrubs/bushes all around, along with wildlife. The walk to the beach is very easy (plus there are benches) and we found more tidepool creatures here than in other areas. Be sure to go down at low and high tides to see the difference.

Best views and one of the best values we've found in our travels. August 2018 was filling up back in November 2017 so reserve early for summer. The park was mostly empty in November, except for...

Beautiful views are the one very positive of this RV campground. Past that the park is in need of an upgrade snd deferred maintenance. It is old snd the sites are somewhat narrow. Our site was nice due to the views of the ocean. However right next to the path/hill that leads to the ocean across a very busy highway. ||||We were setting up our site and 3 children about 8-10 went down this steep hill with no helmets nothing on their bikes. No supervision I politely told them to be careful as the bottom of the hill was the road. They proceeded to tell me to pretty much mind my own business. ||||About 15 minutes later an unidentified man cdd as me to our site on a golf cart. He came "stomping" to our site and proceeded in a loud voice with our 13 year old grandson standing right there that it was reported that "we were hauling ass" up the hill to our site. Now given we were towing a 30 foot trailer we found that a bit hard to accept. However my husband was nice and told this person we would be careful. Not once did he identify himself. As well this campground kept telling us in every email that the staff was working from home and limited staff on hand. If there was a staff person they would be wearing masks to ur sites. Well, that did not happen. ||||Later on in the evening I asked my husband to put on the LED strip lights as the park was pitch black and it made me very uncomfortable. They had said no strip lights for whatever the reason. But we were next to that path and it made me nervous. Pretty soon a knock at the door and again a staff member who did not identify herself, no mask, insisting we turn off the lights as the management prefers a dark park in the middle of the night. I piped up and said what about safety, her response nothing ever happens that is cause for alarm at the park. again we compiled but I did not sleep well all night. ||||The staff are extremely rude here, not helpful, nor do u see them unless they are yelling at u or telling u that u have done something wrong. ||||Give. The above we will not ever be returning to...

The views from this campground are the best! We were fortunate enough to have a beautiful site with fulll view of Seal Rock. However, it was also by the hill which was the path to the beach. This proved troublesome as we had a group of young kids with no supervision riding their bikes down this steep hill which led to the highway with no helmet, nothing. We attempted to say something to them, and they just continued to do what they wanted. ||||All of a sudden a man on a golf cart pulled up to our site, and we assumed he was with the staff. No mask on as the email indicated staff would be wearing. He was very loud, and my 13 year old grandson was standing by his Grandfather, when this man who did not identify himself told my husband, "it was reported that you were hauling ass up the hill, and not abiding by the 5MPH speed limit". My husband tried to talk to him, but you could tell there was not anything you could say. We went back to our app from our insurance company, and it indicated that there were no speed incidents, and I knew there would not be. ||||Secondly, the campground was completely dark and we had our small LED lights on since our trailer was broken into a month or so ago at a campsite, again a person came in the dark and knocked at our door telling us that we could not have the LED lights on. My husband told her that it is safety for all of the campers to have some type of lights on. She abruptly said "it's the rules, and no outside lights". We complied. It made me feel very uneasy. ||||The sites were okay,, gravel and dirt. Not very level, and if we had been a little longer, we would not have fit in the site. Not a very modern campground.||||Needless to say, we will not be back here again. Over $100 for one night, and the disrespect of the staff was enough for me and we will...
