Very disappointed - tons of potential but suffers from basic TLC. Pros - The cost is cheap. Most sites have electricity, water, sewer, and cable. Strong wifi is available throughout the park. Close proximity to water (bay) and an assortment of self-powered water craft are available to rent as well as bikes. Friendly staff Cons - Dirty, check out is at 10:00 and check in at 1500 but we couldn't understand why; the sites are not inspected nor cleaned when vacated. Our site and the two adjacent had discarded lumber, carpet, burnt wood, and trash. Entire area needs to be mowed. The single bath house was large but during our week stay it was never cleaned. Yes, they did check that toilet paper was available and the trash taken out, but otherwise no cleaning. The area is also an RV, boat, trailer storage area. I'm not knocking this, but the management has allowed owners to park their vehicles however they chose with the resulting chaos making the entire area resemble a low-rent trailer park. It was apparent some of the RV's and trailers hadn't been moved in years. Management actually commented one had a registration dated 2012; management had no idea who actually owned the vehicles nor an accurate record of who was up-to-date with their monthly rent. The area has great potential, but it's not getting the attention it needs. There are other locations nearby that are much better; Henderson Beach, Topsail Preserve, Grayton Beach to...

Only things going for this place are the prices and the beautiful location with the view. Besides that, it is in rough shape. Bath houses are filthy and not cleaned regularly. Laundry only has one working dryer, and the sites empty into shared septic tanks. However, the septic tank for ours was full and they claimed it would slowly drain into the leach fields and allow our sewer hose to empty. While this was true, it was impossible to dump the black tank and it took half an hour to drain the gray tank. They claim a truck will come pump it the next day, but we ended up leaving as we couldn’t even use the shower and our black tank was full. That being said, if they knew about this issue with the septic tanks, it tells me they probably don’t do much to maintain them when they fill up. Finally, some sites are tough to get into as the entrances aren’t marked and you have to weave between trees, not a fun/easy task with a...

I love this RV park! Came here years ago when kids were young. Started RVing again for Winter last year and decided to find the site again. The bridge was not here back then. Have always had a fondness in my heart for this spot. Staff is super friendly! Facilities are clean. My only concern is having to move from site to site when We made our reservations according to regulations and told them how long we wanted to stay. We had to change sites three days before our reservations expired. And no RV came into our previous site! ...

An “off the cut” type of place and hidden near the mid-bay bridge. Definitely a beach getaway from the busy beaches on Okaloosa Island. If you enjoy the quiet and woodsier areas, then this is the place for you. It is well kept up and enough shade during the hot summer days provided by the trees. The incredible sunsets will not disappoint! It is not only a nice local spot, but also a fun family vacation hideout!

This used to be our favorite rv park until last week's visit. Don't know what's going on with management at this park but maintenance and upkeep has been horrible. Bathrooms weren't cleaned at all during our 5 day stay. Absolutely filthy see pic's. Maxwell AFB what are or aren't you doing??? This is prime property being ignored.
