We stayed at Hilltop Lodge last weekend for one night to attend a wedding in Niobrara. You could not ask for a cleaner place to stay. Yes, it is older but using the COVID protocol for staying in hotels right now, we went in before unloading our luggage and wiped down everything from front door to bathroom and everything in between with disinfectant wipes. I am not exaggerating, not one speck of dirt on any of those wipes. I would challenge anyone to try that in a commercial hotel/motel! The location and price were right and person who checked me in was extremely nice. I would stay here again and not hesitate to recommend...

Used to be the best priced place to stay with the most bang for your buck. My original post...prices were $46 a night. Since that post I've stayed there 3 times. Prices went to $65 then a month later upped to $75. I love this place but two rivers hotel & saloon 1 block away has rooms for $65 and its attached to the bar & grill. Stay there instead. 5 star rating here...

Well kept rooms with a few extra comforts. Room had a tv with cable and refrigerator. Air conditioner was running when we arrived and the room was a comfortable 70 degrees, perfect for a warm summer night!
