I loved the staff here - they were all very personable & nice. Not very robotic like a lot of places. My only complaint (& I’m sure if anyone from the front desk sees this, you will recognize this), is my room kept locking me out lol. I needed my key redone every time I left my room. Not sure why but it’s like my keys were one time use only & I was here for 5 nights haha. I think I accumulated 7 new keys + “reactivating” them. Besides that I wish the higher-ups/company themselves would put money back into the building. It would be nice to see upgrades & more deep cleaning. I feel like their money was poured into the pool & things like the creepy elevator got ignored & damage to the walls. I’d say for a family on a trip across the North East or for your average business travel, it’s really not bad. Definitely a 3ish star with great staff. The bed was pretty firm (I know most people prefer it but I don’t), and the shower water was very light but it did stay hot. My advice for owners would be to put money back into the building and upgrade the rooms & hall ways. The ROOM reminded me of a good motel. Good news! Didn’t see bed bugs & I hunted for awhile. That was the best thing about it (I don’t trust any hotels/motels.) Bad news! Only one washer and dryer in the building :( $3 wash, $2.50 dryer.

I really wanted to give this place a 5/5 but I can't. The pool deck is incredibly DANGEROUS! I watched kid after kid fall because the tile is slippery as ice and incorrect for the location. None of them were running, just walking. It needs to be reglazed with a sand/grit surface! Additionally the handicap parking spaces are too far from the door making them not ADA COMPLIANT. Instead, they have Diamond Member spaces where Handicap should be. I will be filling a formal complaint. UPDATE - AWFUL SERVICE. WE STAYED THERE NIGHTS AND ZERO MAID SERVICE WAS ATTEMPTED. I ASKED FOR A FULL BED CHANGE AT 8AM FOR A BED WETTING ACCIDENT. STILL WASN'T COMPLETED BY 6PM. CALLED THE DESK AND THEY ACTED VERY PUT OUT. THEY EVEN SUGGESTED GIVING ME THE SHEETS AND MAKING ME DO IT MYSELF. I DID END UP STRIPPING IN MYSELF. THEN THREE EMPLOYEES CAME IN AND STARED AT THE BED LIKE THEY HAD TO PERFORM A DELICATE BRAIN SURGERY AND DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT. THANK GOODNESS THAT I ASKED THEM FOR TOWELS WHILE THEY WERE HERE OR ELSE WE WOULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN ANY ALL WEEK. WE ARE CHECKING OUT TODAY AND LEAVING BAGS OF GARBAGE THAT THEY DIDN'T COLLECT. DO BETTER HOLIDAY INN NORTH EAST!

We have been staying at this hotel with our children for the past 4 years and this is the first time I have been EXTREMELY disappointed. For those of you who have been here and are aware, or from viewing photos, you can see that there is a “waterpark” at this hotel designated FOR KIDS. There is a hot tub located within the “waterpark.” This year, they have posted a sign that states “No children under the age of 18 are permitted in the hot tub on Friday, Saturday, Sunday.” I am a nurse and understand that younger children should have limited time in a hot tub, however the fact that this “new rule” is only applicable on Friday, Saturday and Sunday implies that this action is most likely the result of an adult(s) complaint and the hotel abided by it?…. What adult comes to a hotel where the hot tub is located within the “waterpark” that is designated FOR KIDS, to get “adult time?” And how insulting is it for the hotel manager to appease this complaint and disregard the families who loyally come here with their children to enjoy ALL amenities?….VERY disappointing to say the least. 1/10 NO LONGER RECOMMEND.

We stayed last weekend (oct 24th 2025) for a staycation. We loved all the dove products that were offered: soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Very convenient and way better than generic hotel stuff. Pleasant surprise. The bed was medium firm and pillows were very soft. If you need harder pillows, they have others in closet, but id suggest to bring one that fits your needs. The reason for 4/5 stars on room is our shade was off the tracks and big lamp didnt work. We did make them aware at the end of our stay as it wasnt a huge deal, but when i worked at a hotel that was something I made sure to check in the rooms. I never wanted future guests to be unnecessarily charged an incidental for something they didnt do. Our room however was very clean, spacious, well stocked, and well presented. We felt comfortable. The one thing I do wish we had was bottled water which seems standard in a lot of other hotels. Again, not a huge deal, just would have been a nice extra. The pools were nice, but as an adult I didn't feel like there were a lot of opportunities to enjoy that amenity without a lot of kids running around. I do realize a lot of families probably book because of the pool area, but id like to ask GM to possibly consider adult only hours from 9 to 10? While families book here, so do travelers that need a break from their kids, families, are traveling for less fun reasons, and adult hours could provide a relaxing stress free break from everything else. If no life guard is on duty, I dont see how adult hours couldn't be accomplished. I worked at a hotel with adult hours and it was something mentioned positively in reviews a lot and prompted many return stays specifically for that. Hotel in general seems well maintained and front desk staff were polite and welcoming at all hours. I know and understand how stressful that job can be, and they didnt let anything show when servicing customers and answering the same question 100 times in a row. Breakfast was probably the best ive seen in years at hotels. Very impressive and had everything for everyone. Well stocked and promptly and quietly cleaned. I didn't notice anything that ran out that wasnt quickly replaced. Could not hear the breakfast staff at all despite the kitchen being right there and I smiled when they sat down to eat when it was all over as I passed by later. It was well deserved. I was so happy to see them laughing and enjoying a meal. They earned it. 10/10 how you keep a staff. Happy staff= higher ratings. Sundry had many options and was well stocked. I was surprised at how affordable things were compared to other places, even my previous hotel employer. I had no issue getting a late check out from 11 to 12. I was grateful it was available, but cleaning staff did knock at 11:03. My advice would be to make sure they have an updated late check out list. They were on the edge of opening the door when i was able to get to it. We were gentle about it, but someone else may be in a different situation and that could lead to issues for both parties and easily avoidable. Overall id give an 8.5/10 and would be happy to stay here again. I strive to provide fair and accurate feedback to foster even...

To be honest I wasn't very impressed. I was expecting a little more. Haven't stayed at the Holiday Inn in many many yrs. This particular Holiday Inn had a small indoor splash water park perfect for my Spring Vacation w/my gbabies in Northeast PA. I was driving from NC. It was a 10hr drive and we had a late start. Est arrival time 8.30ish. First, issue that left a bad taste in my mouth. I called to inform them I was running late and would get there around 8:30ish. The representative informed me that she would try to hold our suite. I thought to myself... TRY? I informed the gentleman my room has already been reserved paid in full. "You will not try." He put me on hold I guess to talk with someone. I was on hold for approximately 20min. Finally, lady pks up and says she couldn't hear me bad connection hangs up. I call back got representative that wasn't at the actual hotel. I expressed my complaints to her, she apologize, and noted my acct to ensure my room would be available. Once we make it to the hotel I was impressed with the lobby area. It had a very clean smell pretty nice. Got to our suite it was really spacious and that I liked. Two queen beds w/sitting room area that had a large pull out sofa. However, you could tell it was outdated set up. One little sink off to itself with a little cabinet space overhead and below with no utensils, no plates, no bowls no anything. I would have even settled for plastic forks paper plates nothing. Off to the other side of the room was this petite microwave and miniature coffee maker that sat on top of the microwave. The rug/carpet was horrible. Old raveling in some areas/sections. It really needed pulling up and a new one laid down. The towels were dingy yellowish. When towels get to that point they should be thrown out. It was giving Red Roof Inn at that point for me. Our toilet handle kept falling off. I would have to take off the lid to the toilet push the metal piece back through the little hole and attach the handle. I called front desk to let them know but no one ever came to repair it. The corners of the bathroom floor were caked with dirt and grim just nasty. At the bottom of the bathroom door the wood was chipping off. It was old a needed replacing. The splash water park was OK. The water was really cold. Very uncomfortable to swim. When you walked in the area it was warm but once in the pool it was cold. My gSon couldn't stop shaking. It also can use come cleaning and upkeep. On a more positive not the breakfast was pretty decent. There was no switching up. They served the same thing the 4 days we were there. I felt it was missing grits, variety of fruits, and plantbase milk (almond). The staff were friendly and respectful. Would I return? For the size of the room and breakfast, maybe. Would I...

4th visit in 4 years. Stayed one night. There are a lot of positives:|Ample free parking |Nice size exercise room overlooks pool area |Friendly professional staff |Rates are good join the hotel program |Nice indoor pool area although it’s referred to as a waterpark I would just say more of a nice indoor pool area. There is also another pool and sauna down the hall, but the sauna was out of service. It has things, especially for the younger kids as well as a slide for older kids and a hot tub for adults. Towels are provided.|It’s right off of interstate 90 so it’s super easy to get on and off and the hotel is right there |There is a farm market and a Dollar General right near there if you forgot something .|The hotel offer several different computer spaces if you need to work from there |There’s a small little shop with snacks and other little things for convenience |They have a free breakfast and the breakfast room as well as the offerings are the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel for complementary and I’ve traveled a lot. This is seriously the best set up I’ve ever seen. |Rooms were spacious and clean. They have soap, shampoo and conditioner already provided in the shower so no need to bring unless you’re fussy about what kind you use. |I really don’t find any negatives with the hotel. There is also a restaurant right on site. It’s not owned by Holiday Inn called harvest. I just went in there to get some food for my kids to go. If you’re looking for a bar, you will love it. I honestly got the tiniest little portions for kids. I mean smaller than a regular kids meal and spent $15. There was barely any food and they were hungry an hour later so it’s very expensive but they’ve got you cause it’s the only restaurant right there . Just keep that in mind. I will continue to use and recommend this hotel. It’s seriously one of the best places I’ve...
