JT'S Lakeside Campground — Hotel in North Webster

I arrived Friday around 4:30. I made reservations beforehand. I guess the man that made reservations was not in the office when I arrived so a nice lady took down my name number and the lot I reserved.. was told i would be given a call when the man returned. let me in the gate because she could not give me a code. I asked about leaving and returning because I had things to do in town that evening. I scoped out my lot and unpacked my wood and Firestarter, went to the restroom and left the park.. between 5pm and 9pm I called 8 times trying to get my access code to get back into the park because Noone called me with that information. When I arrived back at the park around 9:45 the open light was on with the door locked .. they did have an emergency phone on building that someone finally answered and I was granted access into park but was soon blocked from someone parked in the middle of the road blocking any access to my lot .i drove around finally getting back to it only to realize someone had stolen all of my wood and Firestarter... all I wanted was a safe place to sleep while I was in town and this clearly was not the ...

Was there for a graduation party. The campground is really small. You would have trouble getting anything much larger than a tent on the site. The camp sites are right on the lake. The issue with that is, there are pires where people who rent for the season dock their boats. For them to get to their boats, they have to walk through your camp site. The camp site beaches also double as beaches for the season long renters.

Form what we could see, there are no showers, no on site camp store, and no modern restrooms. The only restrooms we could see were out houses.

The lake is small. Too small for speed boats, so there is no sking on the lake. There is really nothing up there for teenagers to do.

Campground was nice. But the pontoon we rented didnt run right and could only tube for 2 or 3 minutes at a time before it stopped. Spoke to the man in charge and he was very rude to us with beer breath. Told us the weeds in the were high this year and that why the boat didnt run right. When we asked him why no one told us that before we rented the boat his reply was .... What would you have done if I had told you?. Uh probably not have rented the boat!!
