Throughout my 5 month stay at Northlake Village, I've really enjoyed the facilities, my spot, the neighbors, and the views. The park itself is a seemingly good place to settle. ||The bathhouses are in clean condition, and the pool looks like it will be a great place to swim this summer. There are a lot of green areas and it's a very pet-friendly area.||My issues are solely with management. There is a waitlist for this park, though the organization at the front office seems to need an update with managing this list from the miscommunication before check in. They will surely let you know HOW many people are on said list, but take issue letting you know where you are on it. Don't dare ask follow up questions, these are busy ladies who have more important things to do than sit and explain things to you. ||Management has also changed recently. Please don't expect this to be accommodating. Aggressive might be a better term. Maybe even militant. It doesn't matter if you pay rent on time or keep to yourself, clean up your dog's excrement, etc.-they really care of you know their RULES, and that they are in charge. There are rules and regulations within this park, and they are strict. 7 mph, do not go 9 mph. You will be pulled over by a man on a golf cart and reminded what the speed limit is. If you need driving tips, he'll give you those too. Relaxing isn't really how I'd describe this park, so much as 'regulated'. ||All of that to say, if you can put up with unnecessary aggressiveness from the front office staff, some power happy maintenance men, and random gunshots from the neighboring "adventure park" that just held an Alt-Right rally, you've got yourself a lovely...
Read moreThis review is a shout out to the Staff, then. I will get to the facility. I made my reservation via the internet at the last minute as my previous RV Park had some predicted Flooding issue. Then, two miles from NorthLake Village RV Park, I broke an axle. Parked on the side of the road, I called the RV Park and explained the issue, and asked them to get involved in the repair. They stated they had an RV Repair Tech living on the property. I limped the RV to the property, checked in, and parked the RV in the “Overnight” spot. Before I could unhook the dolly down the RV, the on-site Tech had already contacted me. NorthLake Village RV Park then arranged for a Wrecker Service to tow my RV to the Service Location. Thru no fault of NorthLake Village, the Wrecker Service failed to arrive as scheduled, resulting in an extra night in the Overnight Space. (FYI, This all happened just before NASCAR Weekend, two miles away from this RV Park. The Park was booked FULL for NASCAR). The office staff, Chloe & Sherri understood our breakdown issue and accommodated us in every way possible. Now it is day three of an overnight stay, and the staff is still very understanding and accommodating. Finally, the wrecker arrives and my crippled RV is towed off of the NorthLake Village RV Park. Now, about the RV Park… The 50 Amp Power worked great. The City Water worked great. Black Tank Sewer worked great. The on-site Bath House was clean, modern, roomy. What a great facility. I look forward to my next visit to NorthLake Village RV Park (without a...
Read moreI dont know what everyone else is complaining about. I've been living in RVs for nearly a decade now and this is by far one of the nicest parks ive ever stayed in.
Quiet, well manicured and well kept, the facilities are outstanding, bath house and laundry are top notch, very much an RV resort.
Management has been great to me during my stay and i've experienced nothing negative from the park whatsoever. Due to how busy the park is, their waiting list, the amount of full-timers, and the large amount of pass through traffic from traveling RVer's their policy of payment in full and no refunds was stated from the get go with me and i have incurred no additional "hidden" costs.
Also, to those complaining. Standard RVing is typically a retired couple and one car with a pet or two. If YOUR living situation is different than the industry wide normal. Kids. More Pets. More Adults. More Vehicles. Get used to this. $2 is a DEAL compared to alot of parks with limited space and availability such as this one.
Northlake is an exceptional facility. the perfect layout in minimal space rigs not to close together. green belts for walking the dogs, outstanding amenities, but all in all its not a big place. its got alot of charm and welcome. as for the wifi im about 1/2 way down the park from the office and i have no issues streaming shows, using youtube, sending emails, or any other standard use of my internet. while not the fastest ive ever used, it is certainly functional for daily life.
ive truly enjoyed staying here...
