I stayed at The Landmark Inn Bed & Breakfast in Oberlin, Kansas- I’m so glad that I made the detour for it, because it was worth it! #victorianrenovation #oldwest #wildwest #victorianhouse #historicalbuilding #victorian #nationalregisterofhistoricplaces #bedandbreakfast #uniquehotel #victorianera

This is where you stay when you want your stay to be an experience - truly part of the fun of the trip instead of just a stop until the trip can resume. Our family of four absolutely loved stepping back in time and staying at this beautiful and quirky bank-turned-B&B. Gary was an exceptional host, the accommodations were excellent and the breakfast was so elegant and delicious. We loved reading the old books we found in the sitting area outside our room and checking out the gift shop. The town of Oberlin was so fun, too - simply adorable! We enjoyed walking around, thrift store shopping in the morning, and basking in charming small town living.

We operate a storm chasing expedition company called Tempest Tours. We take guests from around the world storm chasing. The Landmark Inn is perfect for our guests and staff. Clean, quirky rooms and delicious breakfast in a historic red brick building in Oberlin. Recommended!

We happened upon this unique B+B while driving through Oberlin KS on route 36 west. We were pleasantly surprised to find sleeping accommodations that are filled with antiques and history, it was like staying "a night at the museum" we loved it. Our room was filled with treasures from the past, and we could have hung out in a beautiful sitting parlor, and enjoy the surroundings, as well, would have been great to have several family members there with us, and staying in several of the rooms. It is like a step back in time, and the breakfast downstairs in the teller room was awesome the next day! the best scrambled eggs and fruit, and a wonderful homemade blueberry scone. Gary, the owner has many talents in putting this establishment together, as well as a wonderful cook with the assistance of the proprietor of the gift shop attached. They were very nice people and we enjoyed our stay in Oberlin, we will be back the next time we travel 36 west..we would like to visit the restaurant again, maybe have other foods, that are not a breakfast.. Go..you will not be...

Get ready to be transported back to the turn of the century. Every room is wonderfully appointed with authentic antiques and decor. The high ceilings provide a sense that the rooms are far larger than they really are. The beds are very comfortable and you'll lack for none of the usual modern amenities. The owner is impeccably friendly and helpful. The breakfast was incredible with eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, homemade scones, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and wonderful coffee. All this was consumed in the Teller Room Restaurant, the hotel's beautifully decorated restaurant housed in the former lobby of the historic Bank of Oberlin. Want to feel like early-20th century American aristocracy, stay here. Even our four children aged 11 to 4 absolutely loved their stay here. This place is wonderful if you're passing through on your way to parts unknown, or if you're looking for a place to stay a while to experience the...
