This place was a good overnight stop while visiting the National Cowboy Museum and hall of fame. It was very close to the museum and several other places of interest however, I would not take a shower there! The tub floor was filthy looking but I don't think it could have been scrubbed out. As always, I checked the beds and found no bedbugs or residue. The room smelled like mold when we walked in because the room was so hot when we got there. It continued to smell moldy for quite some time but eventually it either went away or I got used to it. It had a nice refrigerator and the tv was adequate. The wifi was not secure so I did not use it. The bathroom has peeling paint from the steam I assume and the bathroom door did not open all the way so 2 people would not be able to get dressed etc at the same time. The beds were fine for sleeping, no problem there and there was a lot of space in the room. The morning breakfast area was awful, no air! Just the door opened to the hot Oklahoma morning sun. The food that was available was ok, nothing special. For the price it was just passable and since we did not plan on staying long it was ok. Found out this was an old Howard Johnson. One big plus was there was an excellent Italian restaurant next door that was very good but a little pricey. Probably would not stay here again if...
Read moreDONT STAY HERE!! Only rated it one because it would not let me leave it blank. As soon as we pulled up we got a creepy feeling. There was an individual staring at us the whole time. When we drove to the other side to go to our room, he was already there on the second floor watching us go to our room. He was someone you would not want to see roaming around your hotel. It was like the beginning of a horror movie. The scary thing is, I think he worked there. We left to eat dinner and were dreading going back it was that bad. When we got back, the individual was still out roaming around and deliberatly stopped to stare at us when we went back to our room. For fear of being harmed or something much. much, worse, we immediately checked out and took our losses. The manager was very familiar with the protocal for canceling reservations, which was also not a good sign. The carpet was nasty and slick and the chair was even worse, even the sheets were full of large disgusting stains, but the fear of being watched was much worse!! ...
Read moreThis hotel is in poor, dirty condition. The room was dirty, sheets wrinkled and did not fit, pillows lumpy and flat. There were holes in the bathroom wall, toilet would not stop flushing. The manager. gave me a plunger to fix it myself. I killed 3 large black bugs in the||bathroom. I had to ask for towels and toilet paper. The toilet paper holder was broken.|| No kleenex. The furnace was broken and there was no hot water. The grounds around|| the hotel were filled with litter, cans, bottles. There were obvious hookers working out of the hotel. There were loud noises all night long. People came and went from the room next door all night I felt threatened and unsafe. If I could have got a refund, I would have left for another hotel. Even one of the permanent residents said it was not safe and he would like to leave. The managers were unfriendly and unhelpful. I will not book another Knights Inn and mighteven think twice about one...
