Each villa is very comfortable. However, the earlier part of my star was more troubled than not. First and foremost, I found a hair on the toilet, which claimed to be “Sanitized”. The carpet smelled of muck, and probably hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. However, my stay got progressively better. My sleeping arrangements were comfortable, and taking a shower was so easy, despite the small space. (I will update this when I finish having breakfast. More info on that.) Update: Breakwast was good. However, some details to add, the AC at night is like a foghorn. Unbearable. I think they really tried on the villa aspect, but there needs to be major areas of improvement.

What the reviews don't tell you: 1. If you're in or near cabins 431 and 432, you'll be 15 feet away from sewage vent pipes, so in the morning the inside and outside of your cabin will stink of human sewage. I spoke the front desk, and they simply told me that that's normal, and quite honestly couldn't care less. 2. There's a cattle grid on a 50mph next to the cabins. When vehicles go over this all throughout the night it's extremely loud. 4. There are no curtains in the cabins. Only wooden blinds, so if you need a dark space to sleep make sure to bring a blind fold.

Fab place to stay. We spent one evening here and had time to just take the Deluxe tour to Monument Valley. Goulding's Lodge has such a great history. I would have loved to visit the museum and watch the documentaries and movie in their theatre but we did not have the time. Our cabin was cute. I loved the linen and toiletries. Staff were fabulous too - very customer focused. They came all the way to fix my wifi and tv issues. Thank you. The restaurant had a good selection of food. There is a food mart too. I would stay there again!

Excellent location to stay and visit monument valley. The suites were really clean and well maintained.

I Highly encourage one to stay within the valley to visit and tour monument valley.

To my knowledge there are just two hotels in the valley - Goulding's and The View.

You can't go wrong by picking either of those I guess. Also make sure to take a guided tour when you visit monument valley, you cannot cover all the scenic (breath taking) spots yourself. Also many of the spots are not accessible to public without the tour. Goulding offers guided tour at $75 per head and it is a must if you wanna make the most of your visit to...
