A Hidden Gem Near Zion – Truly Unforgettable! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My family (mom, dad, sister, and I) had the absolute pleasure of staying at Arrowhead Country Inn and Cabins in Mt. Carmel, Utah for 9 nights at the end of June—and we completely fell in love with this place! If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing escape that's still close to all the major sights, this is it. It felt like our own little retreat—quiet and far from the crowds, but located close enough to visit Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and even the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. One of the highlights of our stay was the included daily breakfast, served at the cozy on-site farm store. Jane and Cali greeted us each morning with big smiles, delicious food, and great local recommendations. Their kindness and hospitality really made our mornings special. The property itself is a working farm, which made our experience even more unique. There were plenty of animals around, which added to the charm, yet the grounds were clean and well maintained. The pool and hot tub were a huge bonus, especially after long days of hiking and sightseeing. You can really tell this is a family-run business that takes pride in what they do. Arrowhead Country Inn is a true gem, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you to the wonderful team for making our vacation so memorable—we can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I chose this Inn because of its location convenient to Zion and Bryce Canyon and positioned for our next stop to Page, AZ. We also wanted to avoid the typical hotel experience. We stayed 3 nights. We were not disappointed. The to-go breakfast was delicious (yes, you might need to microwave if a soufflé) and was waiting for us to pick up between 7:00 to 9:00 am. All made from ingredients from the farm. Our little cabin for two was clean and odor free. The queen bed was especially comfortable. We had several pleasant conversations with the owner when we entered their back porch market space. We arrived at night and our key and information packet was ready without anyone present. This was fine for us since we just wanted to get quickly settled. If you want a quiet, clean, and quaint experience, this is a good option. Mt Carmel is small, so we drove to Kanab for a couple of meals. Cell connections on the road with AT&T were non-existent. The cabin Wi-Fi was a tad slow, but acceptable. We will happily stay here again.

Arrowhead is located basically right in the middle of Zion, Grand Canyon, and Bryce National Park. It didn't take more than 2 hours to reach anyone of them from here. As far as their cabins? They are SO cute and homey. At least the one we stayed in, Garden Cottage, was. They provided cooking supplies and dishes if you needed to cook anything while there. They do provide breakfast for you though and during the week have lunch and dinner available in their on-site Cafe. ALL of their food provided and what we tried was DELICIOUS. I highly recommend trying what they have available!! They have a farm on the premises that has goats, chickens, horses, mini donkies, mini horses, and cows. There is also a pond at the Cafe that has koi and it is sooo pretty!! The family who owns it is SO nice and would 10000% recommend staying here even one night but I bet you'll regret only staying one night. We stayed 5 days and I wish we could've stayed longer.

We really liked this location as a jumping off point for Bryce, Zion and Kanab. There is a lot of info on their website - they are very transparent about these accommodations and their policies. |There really is not much around here in terms of shopping or restaurants so be aware and plan ahead. We stayed in the Willow cabin for 3 nights. The cabin was clean and adequate for our needs (basically sleeping). I knew in advance that the Willow cabin was near the road - it didn't bother me but my husband is a lighter sleeper and was awakened when a few trucks passed. However, I did not read carefully enough to realize that it is also very close to the chickens and roosters crow in the morning. Thank goodness we wanted to get up early because we would have had no choice. |We loved their pick up breakfasts. They were home made, delicious and plenty of food for us. |Our keys were on a table for us to pick up when we arrived and there was a nice binder in our room with tons of helpful information. But breakfast pickup was the only time we had any interaction with our hosts who were very nice. All other interaction was done by email. I would have liked more personal contact. |My only other disappointment was that we noticed a lot of clutter while walking around the grounds and on porches that were not guest accommodations. I realize its a working farm but was a little surprised with all the junk lying around. |All in all, we are glad we...

We had an acceptable stay here. It was better than average, but not 'very good'. I wish there was a 3.5 rating. The inn has a wonderful location, useful for lots of local scenic activities. And it's great to be near the animals, some of which may be cuddled. It's quiet and dark and our cabin was well-provisioned for cooking. You can stargaze from your porch! |But the breakfast was a huge downer. The website is covered in photos of amazing food, chafing dishes full of delicious stuff. It was only after I booked and paid the deposit that I was told we'd only receive a 'Country to go' breakfast. Which, as it turns out, is a bit of fruit, some quiche (or similar) and a muffin (or similar). Oh, and there's nowhere to eat it because the cafe is shut. The to-go breakfasts were tasty, but they were also a far cry from a country breakfast. For me, this was a huge let-down. I felt misled and hungry, not a great combination. 'Take your food at eat in your room' is really not what I expect from a Bed and Breakfast.|When I asked about this I was told they changed during Covid. But Covid restrictions ended a long time ago; I was told they have some staff problems too. While I do sympathise (hospitality all across the USA is struggling and is generally a bit rubbish), at a minimum the website needs changing or big flags on it. The whole vibe is off and it rather spoiled our days there. If I'd known this was what I'd get, I'd have just...

Working Ranch Relaxation!

We stayed a total of 5 nights in the cottonwood cabin (full kitchen), the cabin was exceptionally clean and perfectly equipped with all the basic needs. The cabin was located deeper in the property than all others which provided a little more privacy.

Drain issue occurred the first night, after being brought to the attention of the owners the issue was resolved within a day. I think the cleaning staff should have notified them owners, but it happens. Outside of that we had no issues with anything.

Breakfast is cooked and packaged every morning at 7am unless otherwise requested, this is important if you don’t enjoy cold food. Communication is key, however this is best breakfast I’ve had for complimentary, even when comparing to higher end hotels with breakfast bars with cooked to order stations.

*Note: This is a working ranch not a high end resort. You will have a very fun authentic experience, the animals are all within walking distance for you to enjoy and get to know. All the people on the ranch are very helpful and willing to give you information about the area and their ranch!

Improvements:

I think pre-inspection checks of the cabins are necessary to avoid drain clogs or broken equipment.

🥳To the ranch family🥳

You made the stay so wonderful for my wife and I. We’re very thankful we found this place, we wish many more years or prosperity and provision for you all....
