Miraval Life In Balance — Hotel in Oro Valley

It's Narnia....loved everything about Marival. My partner and I went there for a week to celebrate his 60th. I hope to go back every year. It was exactly what we were looking for...a luxurious wellness retreat. Go to as many of the free lectures as you can...all were GREAT! Food was fab. Staff was very sweet. Our room was very secluded and beautiful (although had to change rooms 3 times...I knew this when I booked but I wanted the larger rooms with a king bed...worth it). I actually bought one of the featherbeds online...it was AWESOME! Mirival sells them....but I found the manufacture sells them for a bit less: Cuddledown 600 Fill Power Super Featherbed Item # Z1256 04. We had spa treatments every day and most were great. We did have one gal that was not good at all. All in all my partner said it was "the most transformational week of" his life. For me it was as excellent reset that I hope to make...

I absolutely love Miraval. Every year I take a me-cation to a different wellness resort and Miraval definitely has earned a spot in the top 5 for me. The staff, the classes and food were excellent. The resort was not crowded which made it a true oasis for those who truly want time for self reflection. The desert hiking was amazing. If a person is looking for a place to regroup or to treat themselves this is the place. There are so many options for activities that one needs to pace one's self. Not to be missed is the daily 2 hour hike. The food is delicious and any of the chef led activities are well worth the cost.
