Beds are made with memory foam mattresses the rooms are all so cute with their own theme. The tubs are ceramic not plastic. Each room separately decorated with its own theme. The front desk clerk was extremely nice and very helpful with showing us the rooms and explaining the amenities. Everything worked in the room and the antique finishings made the name really match the motels name! The patio had BBQ pits and tables with chairs for everyone to use. The front desk clerk was very observant with the activities on the property. The morning after we woke up to find a Doe and her baby walking in the little lot across the street like something out of a snow white fairy tale. I could go on an on about how much I enjoyed my stay at the vintage. I have had experience working in the hotel chain and I am very critical when it comes to hotel review but j literally can't come up with one dislike about the Vintage Country Inn. Even the location was perfect I stayed a whole week and really wasn't sure I was ready to leave. The best Motel I've...
Read moreTrying to find a place to get out of the rain, the rain that was causing flooding, but not wanting to be too close to Kansas City, we came across Country Vintage Inn. Our number one search criteria is pet friendly as we travel with our dog. The second is a non smoking room. We also really like unique and family owned. We hit all of these things with Country Vintage Inn. ||||The room we had was Marilyn Monroe. It was cute and comfortable. We had hot water, heat, microwave, and a coffeepot. The tv also worked well and we could watch some football games. The parking lot is situated that you can park in front of your room and watch your vehicle. The town of Osawatomie itself is quaint, with historical markers to visit. ||||The only negative remark I would have to say is lack of plugs. The coffee maker needed to be brought down from a shelf and put on a side table to be plugged into a power strip. I can't remember where or if we did plug our phones in, but that would have been hard to find as well. ||||We would...
Read moreAlmost a century old, this definitely has the feeling of the old motor court hotels. The age is showing, quite a bit in some spots, but it was clean and that's what matters the most for my husband and myself. We don't need a heated pool, just a clean shower. The staff was great, checking us in after 10, getting more pillows and blankets, and were super polite. Each room has a theme, so if mounted wildlife bother you, ask for the railroad (where my husband wants to stay next time) or American flag room. They have bbq grills set up for the guests to use, and a coin washer and dryer. We interacted with quite a few people in town and they were all complimentary of the owners and staff...
