This stay was unsatisfactory. Our room smelled like wet dog and cigarettes.  The floors were dirty.  The "leather" couch was sticky. Excessive noise from the hallways. When I called the front desk about the issues, they were not concerned or bothered. Simply said "oh ill make a note of it". We attempted to do our laundry at night, The dryers are not working well, we had to reset the dryer 3 times and our clothes were still damp.  We only were washing our work clothes of 2 pants, 2 polo shirts, our socks and underwear. A very small load. In the morning after laying our work clothes out in the living room of our suite, they were still damp. I called the front desk to request a checkout of 11:30a or 12:00p, long enough to run our clothes ONE MORE TIME thru the dryer ( I've now paid to dry my clothes 4 times) And was very rudely told absolutely not. I explained the issue with the dryer and she told me "you can use the dryer but you need to get out of the room" Then housekeeping was banging on our door at 10:15am to tell us to leave, check out is at 11am. LITERALLY the rudest, more unhelpful staff. Room smells. It is dirty. The premises are dirty and questionable at best.  Definitely will never stay at another Red Roof Inn again. We travel for work and stay in hotels across the country the majority of the year. We choose this hotel because it was close to our work location. I absolutely regret it.

I have been staying at this hotel for years but not anymore. I had two suites booked for months for a family vacation. One room was fine (120) but the other was a nightmare (102). The first night the dehumidifier had to be emptied every two hours and mold is on the ceiling over the bed. Asked to change rooms in the morning was told all the suites were book but could move to a different type of room. After packing and unpacking to move rooms we find roaches in the bags of food the next morning. So we have to pack up again and move to a different room. The woman that worked the front desk in the morning was so rude we did not want to talk to her. We witnessed her lashing out at another guest about the tvs. When I said something to the manager about this I was told that she had been cornered by the guest but what I saw was completely different. After all the issues that we had over the weekend we were given a refund of $182 for the room difference. All the food that was thrown away and the two softsided coolers that were thrown away because we did not want to bring the bugs home was not paid for.

I travel throughout the southeast of the US quite often and stay in many hotels. This particular hotel appears to look nice and the rooms look comfy, but when you actually take a closer look , Not At All ! My room had a bad odor , tub was clogged , stained bed sheets , electrical boxes were not secured and coming out along with my plugged in phone charger, scratched doors , mildew on all windows ,no housekeeping, etc. The breakfast is just a bunch of little Debbie snacks pretty much. At my check in I felt like I was given directives like a child " do not smoke within 30 feet of the building " . This hotel is literally starting to turn into a place everyone with options will regret to stay there.

We chose this hotel because the price was reasonable, and your first pet stays free (we only have 1).

It's definitely a lower-budget hotel than we're used to. The lobby and the room appeared clean, however, there are drawbacks to paying a lower price: small room with sparser, cheaper, and smaller furnishings than higher-priced hotels, poorly repaired paint separation all around the top edge of the tub/shower, child-size bath towels (and only 2 stocked), very small tub/shower. One small chair and small table in the room, leaving little space off the floor to place our belongings and suitcases. Quite a large space between the bottom of the door and the floor, allowing significant light to enter under the door. Very poorly insulated, so outside noises were easily heard, as was the bathroom fan easily heard through the wall, even though the door was closed. This morning, we saw one cockroach on the floor, but it wasn't fast enough to evade getting smashed on the floor.

This morning, also, when I used the stairs, I noticed the stairwell smelled musty/moldy, which is interesting because this morning, shortly after taking my usual 3 morning meds, I felt sick and had to throw up. I'm very active and healthy, and the only reason we could figure that I got sick is because of mold, even though it wasn't visible in our room. We checked out 45 min. ago, but my husband and I both still feel queasy, though he didn't throw up.

The staff were friendly, the hotel appears clean except for the one cockroach, but something caused me to get nauseous this morning, and after reading all the reviews mentioning mold plus the very off smell in the stairwell, I'm led to believe the hotel has a significant mold issue. Hopefully, they can do something about it (and the roaches) because, otherwise, the room really was acceptable for a one-night stay on a...

I do NOT recommend this location. A friend of mine asked me for a recommendation for hotels. I have always loved the Red Roof brand and been extremely loyal to them so of course I recommend my friend book with them. As a result, she has stayed there multiple times and had planned to stay multiple more. HOWEVER, she needed to cancel her reservation for the weekend. She cancelled weeks in advance. She was in vehicle with us. I heard the employee state her reservation had been fully cancelled and she would not be charged. However, this weekend she was charged. Thinking some error had occurred she contacted them and tried to professionally and peacefully work it out. She discovered they had charged her on purpose and refused to refund anything. So, I called and asked what documentation she could provide to prove she had canceled this. I offered a variety of options which also included a request of them reviewing documentation on their end of phone and camera. They wouldn’t accept call logs, written/hard copy proof of cancellation, or if necessary statements from those in the vehicle. They called me back and instructed me to “do what whatever I have to do because no one is getting any money back.” Not only is this unprofessional but it’s unethical. I would never again trust them with my credit card information nor will I ever encourage any of my friends. I am also going cancel any further business related stays as is my family going forward. I am horrified that such dishonesty exists today. It’s not about the money. It’s about the employee who didn’t follow proper protocol in cancelations and also the manager being confrontational and unprofessional. Honestly, never again will I recommend or stay at a Red Roof Inn. Their actions have seriously damaged their brand image in my eyes...

THE WORST HOTEL IN THE WORLD!!!!! First, walked in and upon entry the entry smells like mildew and not like "oh! Some mildew" like am I going to die from this kinda smell? We decided to continue to our room and when you walk in you get hit with the smell of dirt and mold. Mold was everywhere. Ceilings? Mold. Walls? Mold. Baseboards? Coming off the wall from mold determination. Also water expansion. The floors were gross and not at least swept. When I looked at the bottom of my socks their was dirt and crumbs and brown from them. The shower is moldy and the door looked like it was tearing up and dirty. Huge brown stains on toilet side of door. If you look up at the light the paint is peeling away from the light and has mold seeping from the cracks in the paint. The fan wasn't recognizable with the mold and clogged with dust. My husband went to take a cold shower, went to use a towel and after drying himself off noticed the dirt and black hair from the "clean" towel on him. He looked at the other towels by the sink and all of them had yellow staining and were disgusting. Pool was okay not great but clean enough. That night a water main broke so they didn't have breakfast, I can't even explain to you how uncomftrable the bed was. My husband and I went to bed that night on the toughest mattress and smallest thinnest pillows with a blanket that barely fit the bed. We payed for 2 nights and only stayed 1 because it was so bad. The customer service was okay, they were nice enough but didn't seem to care about the issues at all. We both felt incredibly sick and had hives from sleeping there, im pregnant so we left immediately. We asked the locals after needing to find a new place to stay and they all said this red roof location is the worst...
