Waffle House — Restaurant in Florida

The last time I ever ate at a Waffle House was back in 1995 in Collins, MS and the food was so disgusting (the 2nd time that had happened) that I swore I would NEVER step foot into a Waffle House ever again. It was truly that bad! Well for the last few weeks I have been staying at the hotel (I am from out of town working a job here) next to the Waffle House on Avalone Blvd in Milton, FL. Late last night I was very hungry and, being that I am not very familiar with the area, I decided to give Waffle House a try after 27 years. The experience I had was absolutely amazing! The two employees who were working were the best I had come across in a while! Brandon and Eric did a fantastic job in making sure I was taken care of and making sure that my order was correct and delicious! Brandon and Eric went out of their way to make my experience and my food perfect! It wasn't until after I had received my order that I told them I had not stepped foot into a Waffle House in more than 2 decades! I even went back and got their names so I could do this review...that is how much of a phenomal job these two gentlemen did! Thank you Brandon and Eric for providing excellant customer service and food for someone from out of town who SWORE they would never ever return to a Waffle House! I can't promise I will give another location a shot but I will definitely go back to this location if ever in the area and I will surely tell my traveling friends about this place! Got cussed out by the cook Brandon. I eat at waffle house often but never before at that location. 2.45 am went in and wanted to order hash browns with the option to double the order for an additional 50 cents. When I told Brandon what I wanted to order I was told that deal didn't exist Id have to order a plate to get it it couldn't be ordered by itself.I told Brandon I have eaten th.at the waffle house across town many time. He started an argument over the matter that I didn't know what talking about. Before it was over he was ranting and raving literally Running up and down the cook lane telling me to get the FUXK out of "HIS" restaurant. Went to the restaurant yesterday order the same thing without a glitch.When I was nearly finished I ask to speak to the manager. I told him what happened .of course the story from Brandon and his cohorts made it all my doing. "No surprise" I ask him if he had reviewed the video .He said he had not. He said I'll have to talk to him. Tried to call corporate. Can't be done. Have to go to www.waffle house .com after inputting all the info name store email phone etc etc when it came to the part about telling about my experience the web site just stalls and don't move any further. Tried for an hour.call corporate headquarters. A soon as they discovered I was calling about my experience I was literally ignored while she spoke with some one in the lobby for five minutes. No even so much as "can you hold for a moment" Never set foot in waffle...

First time trying a Waffle House. Walked in and Place looked like one of those 2am WH fights just happened like you see on social media. Tables not clean, workers yelling and running around like chickens with their head cutoff. Wasn’t too busy. There were a few bikers at the bar and a couple seating at a table. We were a party of 8 we were greeted by Jucci/Jacci(?) she was sweet and assertive. With the help of a another coworker she got some clean tables ready for us within minutes. She got our drink orders but forgot to give a us menus which she apologized and told us they have been swamped since 8am(it was noon when we arrived). Got our drinks and she told us what WH offers. She introduced that menu like a priest with a bible. even told us other items they offered that were not on the menu. Food arrived quickly after a little mishap a worker burned all the waffles but jacci/jucci let us know it wasn’t gonna be much longer for replacements. I got the cheesesteak sandwich. I highly recommend. Also blueberry an almond waffles were the best and I’m more of a pancake person. Our waitress made sure we were fine and kept our drinks topped off.
