For a cost effective, beautiful, quiet, easy to get to, motel with amenities, you literally can't beat it. I booked my stay about 4 days before arrival, I called and asked a couple questions and the phone call was great. I was asking about their ADA disability access, and making sure that was ground level, for my medically complex friend. The check in being virtual and all access being granted through text was a BREEZE, just send you your code after check in completed online! Definitely do your check in before arrival, I have Verizon and had zero service at the hotel. Room access being a 4 digit code rather than a key, is genius to me. No key to accidentally lose and less plastoc waste. The room was absolutely beautiful! We got a Single standard queen room, and though it was small, it was just fine! The bed was soft and comfortable, the duvet was plush and clean, and it was beautifully renovated. The Bathroom was top notch. The walls are definitely not sound proof, we could hear our neighbors pretty well, but they weren't obnoxious. The room was also very clean! The location is stunning. You could host a whole wedding party on site and get stunning images (as a photographer I say that with intention) the motel is about 7 minutes out of downtown, so its not within walking distance of Pagosa Springs, but that makes it quiet, quaint and easy to access, just maybe not as "convenient". The breakfast was fantastic. When booking, Google showed breakfast, but the website showed absolutely nothing about breakfast. Neither did the in room informational pamphlet, but it's every morning 7-10 am and was great! Roasted potato hash browns, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, toasts, bagels, yogurt, danishes, granola, oatmeal, coffee, juice, milk, cereal. The eatery is also stunning and well laid out. And very clean! Check out instructions being sent to your phone were clear and easy...

Stayed in Cabin #14 for one night. We were worried that we would be checking in too late as our estimated arrival time was 10pm. Texted the hotel twice to make sure we would be able to check in late, never received an answer. Service overall at this place is non-existant.

The towel rack in the bathroom in my cabin was mounted very low over the toilet, and right over the toilet paper holder. Dangerously low. The bathroom is very small with very little extra room to move around. During the evening I hit my head on the corner of the towel rack, which has sharp edges. My head was cut quite badly. It took me 5 minutes to stop the bleeding. I texted the hotel to inform them of this, and even included some pics and still have not received the courtesy of a response.

I would not stay here again. The rooms are charming but not worth being up all night with a splitting headache. A warning to anyone staying in the cabins, be very careful when near the toilet. I’m only 5’10”, but if I was a little taller it could have been an eye instead of the top of my head.

Very disappointed with the total lack of a response from management. If anything at all goes wrong during your stay you're on your own. They ask you to text them with any needs, etc. but they don't respond.

Lovely cabin, very intimate! Perfect for a couples getaway…..just a couple needs that can be improved on for a little extra comfort in the cabin especially for longer stays like ours….. but first the positives….Coffee maker and coffee in cabin was a bonus since we are big coffee drinkers. Bed was very comfortable and linens were nice. Loved having a large sofa to sit in at night or early mornings to enjoy our coffee and pastries. Bathroom was sufficient. Kitchenette was wonderful to bring back snacks or drinks of our own to make at a later time during our stay. Location was ideal, only about 5 mins from town and all the local eateries and shopping. Bring your binoculars because there is wildlife to be seen. Small dresser (maybe inside the closet to be able to unpack along with more hangers) Suitcase caddy to rest your open suitcase on. Hiking trail needed to be cut back, way overgrown so unable to access trail. Ceiling Fan remote didn’t work so couldn’t turn fan on. Fireplace not working….plugged in and switched on but...
