Don't bother. It's Disgusting. I have been going to Delights for 20 +years. My husband and I stayed in one of the dog friendly trailers. It was run down with 80"s style super dirty lazy boys. Smelled really bad of dog urine we had to air it out for 15 minutes before entering. Thank God it was just one night. The next day when checking out I told the front desk about it and he just shrugged. Fast foward a few months later we decided to try again. This time renting the more expensive cabin for the weekend. Again it was Disgusting. Duct tape holding the carpet down. Coffee maker didn't work. Exposed wires. And again smelled of dog urine. It wasn't 'as bad' as the trailer but still gross. We had a nice weekend despite the cabin area, crumbling pool rooms. and rude staff.. MIL liked the pool. When we got home we noticed they charged us a 250$ cleaning fee! Stated there was dog urine on one of the comforters. That "needed to be replaced becuase they cant wash it". My dog was NEVER left unsupervised to be able to do this and has not had an accident inside after he was 3 months old (he's 5 now). We corresponded with Courtney often but she was extremely rude and refused to refund. The staff there are just awful. We (used to) go there to relax a few times a year. It's not relaxing anymore. We go to a different one down the street now. We were told by some locals the place is falling apart after the owners brother took over. I'd like to see Courtney stay in one of her own rooms there with her 2 little daughters. I'd bet that would never happen because it is 100% unsanitary. The place Feels like a shady money grab until it gets closed down or someone buys it that actually cares about running a successful ...
Read moreFor clarification, this is NOT Delight Resort, although it is about a 1 minute walk (and I believe we were the furthest property) to the pools at Delight that you have 24 hour access to. We heard some complaints about the rooms at Delight and were very happy with our choice to stay elsewhere. We stayed in 107, and it was such a great experience! Very clean, good WiFi, full bathroom with shower, and included access to all the pools at Delight. Others already took pictures and posted here of 107, so I included some of what wasn’t already shown. There were some gorgeous houseplants here in addition to the beautiful views and relaxing hot spring pools. We made a last minute decision to come and if we didn’t need to make our flight the following day would have stayed another night. Excellent customer service also, they were fully booked the next night but were still willing to discuss options for us to stay if...
Read moreAs others have mentioned: this very special place has been radically changed (and some would say ruined) by the new management. Cheap, poor quality, "lipstick" level upgrades but a doubling in the price, a tense and hostile vibe, and a hurried, corporate atmosphere. We were told in writing that we could check out at noon (even said so on our parking permit) only to have a pushy staff person come and shout at us while we were soaking that we needed to leave promptly so our room could be cleaned. "We need your keys, now!" ||My partner and I used to go here every year -- it was a special trip for us and we always looked forward to it on our way to Death Valley. When I returned with a friend after running the Death Valley Marathon last year I felt embarrassed that I'd talked it up -- and by how much we had to pay for one night! Sad to say, but:...
