We have stayed here a couple times, it is a nice, quiet and well kept campground. The brand new owners were a pleasure to work with and the pride they take in their new venture is clearly evident. They were extremely polite and professional, meeting them was a highlight of our stay. Aside from great wifi, cell service and full hookups a major plus was its proximity to the route 66 bike trail, which is a great trail to ride and spend a few hours on every day. The biggest plus was that we didn't have to drive our truck to any trailhead, matter of fact when I used gps and used the bicycle option, all we had to do was cross the main road and we were on a short trail that led to the route 66 trailhead. After speaking with The owners or Rustic Acres RV resort, they informed me that this nice shortcut was in the process of being converted and joined to the route 66 trail, so in the future it should accommodate all types of bikes better, as it is now a mountain bike can handle the flat rocky terrain with no problem, if your on a ten speed or you have kids, there may be a small section or two of the shortcut that walking your mike though might be easier. Even with this small consideration its still easier to leave the car at home and ride the whole way.
We look forward to visiting again, we rotate our stays and weekend vacations at various state parks around the Pittsburgh area, Rustic Acres and the new ownership has now made our list. Did i mention its really affordable too? It is.
Thanks to Rustic Acres! We had an awesome time and...

We stayed right across from The Hub which is a real showstopper. We loved hanging out in there for the complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate alone, but stayed to play board games w the kids. It's so cool and cozy, I want to live in there!!
The bathrooms were very clean. Shower had hot water that stayed hot the whole shower through, and the water pressure was good!
There are trails throughout the place marked w mulch and cute Edison lights. So charming!
There's shuffleboard and corn hole. There's an awesome playground, a creek with adirondak chairs set up for your enjoyment, a dog park. Laundry, firewood for sale.
I can't wait to go back! I didn't even mention Tilly, the Airstream which looks absolutely amazing. Hoping to get family to stay in there next time. AND two glamping tents.
The owners are super nice and personable. This is a top-notch place run by great ppl who care. They have put in a ton of work. It's gorgeous and well-run.
We spent a wonderful family weekend at Rustic Acres with a full hookup for a great price. Could not recommend more!!
P.S. We booked on HipCamp, which was...

The owners, Conner and Michelle, are wonderful and hands on; they go far above the standard in making sure campers needs are met. Camp Manager, Ken is awesome as well and always stopped by as driving through to ask how things are going and if we needed anything. Great folks!
Campground location is great for a short or long term stay/vacation in the trees! Close to I80 for quick on and off, but far enough where you don’t hear any interstate noise at all. Close to the National Forest, Clarion, PA and yearly/recurring festivals in the area. There is a nearby Walmart for restocking supplies if needed also.
Strong WiFi signal throughout the park. Firewood and ice prices are very affordable. Their HUB building is set up nicely for larger gatherings; especially in inclement weather. Bath houses are clean and well maintained. Nice trails.
Some family members stayed in one of the trailer rentals (Tilley) and they loved it.
The Saturday evening campground Bonfire event is unforgettable. Singing, socializing, s’mores, lots of fun and refreshments was had by all.
We camped here...
