The nicest part of the property is the clubhouse and checkin counter. 1. The actual park is trailer park quality. Some RVs were built when Reagan became President and not taken care of at all. Not the age but the condition of RVs made it more of an RV graveyard than a resort. The grounds are unattended, except upfront near the photoshopped entrance. Ravens have taken over because lazy people leave trash bags out of their RVs instead of using dumpsters. But honestly it’s because they are so far away and on polar opposite sides of the park. If I was an owner of TT deed id be very upset. Hopefully the investment in the other section will allow them to finally address the decades of neglect at the site level. 2. No cellular coverage. No reliable WiFi offered. 3. Bath houses smelled like death.

This is the most beautiful little community of RV parks. Very upper scale , plenty of hiking, swimming in the pool , relax in there hot tub or play pool in their game lounge with large screen tvs pool tables music sitting areas. This place has options to stay long term short term also fairly priced. You can also buy memberships that cuts the cost exponentially. The manager and staff are amazingly nice and helpful. They have sanitation station vacuums and air water electric hookups anything you really need at a RV park you also can tent camp or rent cabins. This is our home away from home. Undoubtedly you should visit this place summer or winter you'll enjoy and not regret this experience. All amenities inside park.

Before coming to Soledad Canyon in CA, I was a little nervous as the reviews have been less than stellar. After a week stay in section B spot 30, we had a great week. Yes, the train goes by often, but it’s not as loud as we have experienced before.. (it’s all about the adventure!!) We did get some goat heads on our shoes, but they were not as bad as I had read about in reviews. From this location we were able to go and visit Vasquez Rocks, and made a day trip to visit the LA area! The park is working on updating a lot more sites (coming Jan. 2024) and the pool area looks fun! We will definitely come back if we are in the area again.

Extortion is the practice of obtaining benefit through coercion. In most jurisdictions it is likely to constitute a criminal offense; the bulk of this article deals with such cases. Robbery is the simplest and most common form of extortion, although making unfounded threats in order to obtain an unfair business advantage is also a form of extortion. Do not stay here ! After staying at Thousand Trails parks from Virginia to California, this is by far the absolute worst ! Management is rude and exceedingly unhelpful . On our arrival date , we were told to go ahead and find a site anywhere and informed that sites on the inside would have septic and the outside loops would not . We drove around for over an hour , trailer in tow and found that there were numerous sites that had electric boxes painted red , after exploring why , we found it was because they had NO electricity going to them . The map that we were given incorrectly lists sites as FHU , an entire portion of the park is blocked by picnic benches . When we did find a site that we believed would accommodate us , we unhooked and started to get settled only to find that the electrical box was completely burnt up and we spotted a previous occupants melted and charred 30 Amp cord on the ground by the box . I was informed that maintenance stopped working at 4 so no one was available to correct the problem ...it was 330 . We did finally after dark get settled into a site. We are full time Rvers , we read rules and regulations before booking at any park , so imagine our surprise when attempting to pick up a very small Amazon delivery that we were told it would be $25 for the package , yet nowhere does this information exist . It is not on their website . It is not in the map and info that you are given at arrival . It is not in any document that you are asked to look at our sign and it was never spoken to us by staff upon check in . We have 4 packages arriving tomorrow , like I said , full time Rvers . The nearest large scale market , home depot or anything resembling a Walmart is 20 miles each way from this location and they want to charge $25 per package regardless of size . They are not shopping for us . They are not sorting packages and moving to my site or even alphabetically arranging them for pickup . This park is like a great deal of "resorts" trying to take advantage of its guests and basically ripping off anyone that they can. They are literally doing nothing and attempting to charge $25 for doing nothing . I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE ! UPDATE ; this park is literally profiteering from the pandemic ! I was actually told by the customer service that they CAN'T give the fee for package information to everyone that visits here !!! My solution when told that we could not receive our packages without being charged was to sit in the chair and tell them to call the police because I was not paying or leaving without my mail . I was repeatedly told this is not a post office , no , it is not , you are however supposed to be a customer oriented business , which they clearly are not . I was finally given our packages after being THREATENED by the maintenance manager (lol) that a report would be made on our account that I was an aggressor towards the customer service girl . Once again just smh . I was a customer service manager for 38 years , what we received from the staff at this park was definitely not customer service or satisfaction . I hope that this helps every rver out there make the decision to stay away from this park . No good ever comes from...

One star isn’t low enough. The entire campground reeks of sewer, making you question if your own toilet is overflowing. Roads have massive potholes if they are even paved, 80% are dirt which makes for gusts of wind that pick it up and blow it around and through windows. Zero cell phone service in the lower campground which is the majority of sites. There’s an entire section that is closed off and has been for over two years despite them telling us 1.5 years ago it was opening in a few weeks. Check in is a total disaster as you have to provide basically every form of ID’s, Insurances, Registrations, and practically the title for your car. Staff is woefully unprepared for any issue that comes up. You’ll get lots of groans, and sighs from everyone except the maintenance, who seemed delightful. Owners couldn’t care less about the property and should be removed from their franchise deal with TT. I paid for a week which wasn’t honored due to their two week policy. This is the first and only TT to not allow us to “stay” in the park during the dark week between free 2 week stays so we were forced to leave after a heated exchange and forfeited staying there another 3 weeks total. 10 min away is The Californian RV resort which is miles and miles better than TT. We stayed at the Soledad campground 1.5 years ago and nothing has changed, terrible management and downright rude staff, faulty electrical boxes, sewer smell throughout the park, and roads that would cause a rally car driver to cringe. STAY AWAY and drive 10 more minutes to Californian. Free wifi there too unlike TT which charges a fee plus...

I stay there around 3 to 4 months in a year. I’m an elite member of TT. I stay there because I have to (working in LA area) just to be honest. The park is huge and the nature is so cool but… the management of the park… They don’t care about it. It’s dirty, messy. The back side of the pool area is always muddy. Why wouldn’t you build a running/walking trail over there? The restrooms/showers are dirty. I showered in there many times when my RV didn’t have a bathroom back then. I even saw a piece of poo in the shower once. Some rangers are rude. They’re never at the entrance gate but when they’re there they wouldn’t open the gate before seeing your paperwork which I always display in my windshield. Why would you guys provide a gate code then? Some non-elite members are using the park as a parking garage. They come, park at the best spots and leave. Nobody cares. Why do you guys say that members cannot leave their motorhomes more than 24 hours then? I emailed about some issues to the manager but he never answered. I don’t think he works or wants to work there. People who work there are always look like miserable. They aren’t grateful about how beautiful is the nature and so quite and peaceful it could be. Fire your manager and hire me. I have a UCLA business degree. This place deserves more...
