We had an absolutley wonderful stay! The campground was peaceful, clean, and perfectly spread out, giving us plently of space to relax and enjoy. Our cabin was great, having a mini fridge, microwave, K-cup coffee maker, and elctricity made it extra comfortable. The basketball court and game roomwere a huge hit iwth botht he adults and kids in our group. Joe was amazing! He was always driving around, checking in to make sure we were doing well, and asking if we needed anything. He even recommended a nearby ice cream shop that the kids loved. One of our family members went horseback riding with Jim Thorpe Horse Adventures, located right at the campground entrance, and the staff there were incredibly friendly and fun to talk with. We also loved how dog-friendly this place it! A member of our group brought their dog, and we saw several other happy pups enjoying the campground too. We also explored the hiking trail and made it all the way to the water hole ( about a mile from the trailhead). The trail was clean, wide, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Everything here feels close by, yet perfectly spaced out for privacy. Overall, this was an amazing experience and we've already decided to make it a yearly family trip. We can't wait to come back, especially once the pool is open. Thank you for such a...

Our family loved our stay at Pocono Camping Glamp! It was such a charming and peaceful spot….way more thought out than we expected. The cabins were super clean and cozy, and it was such a bonus to have electricity, heat for winter, and the option to rent AC units for extra comfort. We stayed in Section F, which was perfect because we were right near the pickleball and volleyball courts….and let me tell you, our family spent hours out there playing. Huge hit!
Each section of cabins feels secluded but still close enough to gather with other families or larger groups, which we loved. It’s perfect for reunions or group trips. The bathhouses were clean and never felt far, and exploring the other cabin areas made us even more excited to come back…we’re already planning to book again for the next 4th of July!
Some extra touches we appreciated: • Mini fridge with complementary water • Microwave + Keurig with complimentary K-cups • USB charging stations built into the nightstands • Friendly, helpful staff everywhere we turned
We’re even considering coming back in the winter since the cabins are heated…it would be perfect for a tubing or skiing weekend. Honestly, everything about our stay was thoughtful, convenient, and relaxing. Can’t wait...
Read moreWe stayed two nights at one of the large tent sites. The 300s tent block was almost bare (very little tree cover). The size was sufficient, but I would have expected a larger tent pad (gravel) than given, as it was supposed to be a large site. The pad was not particularly level and could use to some more regular maintenance. The fire ring and picnic table were sufficient. Trash cans are present at each site and are collected regularly, which was very nice for a campground.
The overall location is nice, and clearly very new. The camping areas could use more trees and a bit more space between sites. Quiet hours were not enforced.
There was no clear way to check-in. We happened upon staff in a golf cart on the way to our site, and let him know where we were staying. The same for check-out. Not a big deal, but some better communication about process would have been good. Even a sign or a number or text.
We weren't there to make use of any additional facilities. As far as a base of operations went, it did it's job, and if we were to come back to the area for similar reasons we'd probably choose a cabin and bring a rolling AC unit. The cabins looked nice and at least we'd have a door to shut when...
