So I love the lake. We go every year. The campground is beautiful. Gorgeous views. Room for rvs and hookups. Lots of space. It's wonderful. I do have to say though, please be careful. I badly broke my ankle on a slippy hill with Dips in it last year and may still need a third surgery. It's a kinda at your own risk camp ground. It's got huge hills and inclines. The bathroom are clean and stocked, but usually a walk up hill to get to. Some of the hand rails can't be trusted and some steps are old and hazardous. If you are handicapped in any way, wheelchair, walker, cane...it very difficult to navigate...
   Read moreA very nice campground with spectacular lake views if you can get a site on the outer loop. I visited after Labor Day and it was really quiet. Very few people. The weather was perfect. Just keep in mind that the marina doesn’t have small boats, kayaks or paddle boards for rent. You will have to bring your own kayaks or paddle boards. I guess it gets really dull after Labor Day weekend. If you want quiet time for yourself, then it is the best place to camp. Also, make sure to bring your own food. Not many restaurant options.    Read moreGreat campground. Lots of secluded feeling sites as well as water front ones. Small beach area. Beautiful walking trails. Showers could use some help. Only 1 shower worked in our loop. Other down side is you have to push the button every 10 seconds to keep water running. Sites only have 30 and 50 Amp hook ups. No water or sewer hook ups. Plenty of places to get water in each loop and you can will trailer tanks by entrance and empty black water tanks. Dog friendly! Will definitely...
