My wife and I hosted our wedding event at Wild Wisteria B&B in Oct 2020. It was a surreal and unforgettable experience, given the difficulty of planning anything in 2020. Brad and his family were the kindest, most accommodating hosts for our wedding day guests and overnight lodgers, not to mention how they endlessly went above and beyond to cater to every need we presented.
From day 1, Brad was responsive to our inquiries, and enabled us to safely tour the location in advance of our event. He and his wife have been doing this a while and it shows. More impressive, they know the property and the history, and have been carefully updating, while preserving the historic integrity of the buildings and grounds. They care about what they do, but more so about the people they serve.
We were able to safely host our outdoor wedding, and the space was ample for both ceremony and reception. The grounds are lovely and well maintained, with endless photo settings both indoor and out. There was room enough for our guests to park, as well as accommodate our food truck catering.
We opted to utilize a 3-day package, which included overnight lodging for us and many of our bridal party. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and full of character; each boasting a unique and playful personality.
They put on a superb breakfast each morning, and ensured we had space for staging our wedding decor and rental equipment, as well as for day-of prep, such as private space hair/makeup for the bride/bridesmaids, our DIY floral arrangements, and food setup. It's difficult to summarize all the ways Brad and his family made us feel welcome and special for our happiest of occasions.
Thanks, Brad, Cindy, and Family! Blessings and much success in...
Read moreMy husband surprised me with a weekend trip to go to Chadds Ford Winery and Longwood Gardens. He booked this little gem on a whim and I am glad he did.||||YES there is construction, YES there is alot going on, but YES there is passion and love being poured into this treasure by the owners and I LIKE IT! The owner is so personable and knowledgable about the area and you cant help, but get excited along with him when he gives you a tour and lets you know all about the inn. His wife, Cindy (whom we did not meet) has a quirky sense of design which I appreciate very much. The beds are to DIE FOR. We stayed in the lavender room and it is so cozy and warm and exudes character. ||||I also LOVED that fact that their son is interested in cooking and he has a hand in the breakfast spread which is VERY TASTY! ||||I am BEGGING for them to host a murder mystery weekend. I am telling you it would be a ton of fun and a GOLD MINE for the owners. With the squeaky floorboards, woods out back, and a ton of imagination it would be A HIT. If they ever host one we are THERE along with our friends. ||||Well done Wild...
Read moreWe had our wedding here, and how amazing it was! This property was beautiful, and the owners were wonderful to work with! Nestled in Chadds Ford, PA, the BnB is right next to Longwood Gardens and within 45 minutes of King of Prussia Mall (for any last-minute wedding shopping necessary, as it turns out we needed!). The wedding package we purchased included the entire BnB (7 rooms) for the bridal party, as well as the grounds to host our ceremony and/or reception (we did both!). Brad and Cindy did an amazing job of making sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying our stay, and the grounds ended up being absolutely stunning for our wedding day. They also have extras available to add-on to your package, as needed (tent, outdoor patio heaters, pew seating, and a super cute shutter altar set up!). Normally, venues in the Chadds Ford/Brandywine area are super expensive, but this one was not only affordable but very worthwhile!!! Thank you,...
