Y’all, this place is beyond legit. I am shocked I found such a nice motel for such a decent price in this part of Maryland. It’s more impressive than some of the luxury hotels I’ve stayed at for sure, and no this is not a paid advertisement lol.
Whatever preconceived notions you might have about Red Roof Inns, please throw those away and start over by staying here. Perryville location came to win! They ain’t playing games. The owners obviously care so much about the guests, the property, cleanliness, kindness, and safety.
Please note. This Red Roof Inn is basically brand new. Check in was 10/10, and the man behind the counter was lovely. Smells great across the property. Clean as a dang whistle. My room was super cool. A literal full size fridge. Big microwave. Storage for days. Nice TV. Big shower. Bed and pillows were absolutely fine. AC works great. Outside noise wasn’t an issue when sleeping. Quiet and comfortable.
I feel incredibly safe here. If I had small children I would feel completely content with bringing them here. Don’t think this place gives sketchy vibes. I saw zero weird activity. It’s a wholesome place. There’s even a full sized soccer goal in back. Basketball hoop. Really nice sitting areas. Plenty of space to walk your dog.
Overall, I really encourage travelers to give this place a try. Don’t worry about the truck stop next door, they aren’t bothering anyone. Your wallet will thank you, too. Two nights here with tax is less than one night at a semi crappy and basic days inn a few miles down 95.
Don’t let any old reviews before 2025 turn you away. The place has been fully renovated, and the management here...
Read moreInteresting place. Looks like a brand new motel, though I wonder if it is a refurbished one. If so, they did a nice job. Rooms inside are comfortable and clean. Ample parking. Denny's and a truck stop are a very short walk next door. Couple of odd ball things though. I came to the conclusion that the folks who own this motel, may have never actually stayed in a motel. For example, morning coffee (in the lobby) had cups, but no milk, sweetener (other than white sugar packets) and such. And the coffee itself was kinda bad tasting (and I'm not all that picky about coffee taste). Stayed here twice. First time had a coffee maker in the room, but no cups. Not a one. Second time (week or so later) had coffee cups, but the lids didn't fit. Not the end of the world, but again, a detail that shouldn't have been missed. Arriving at the lobby after a long drive, needed a restroom. Sorry, no restroom in the lobby. Have to wait till after I check in and get to my room. Grrrr. Like I said, had all the requisite equipment - bed, tv, big fridge, hot water, but missed lots of details. Few more than listed here. BTW, for the price paid, it was a bargain, which is why I stayed there on the way back. I wish...
Read moreGood value.
Nice, spacious, clean rooms at a decent price. A few odd quirks that I can overlook.
If you get a room on the second floor, you may have a long walk to your car.
The room is a bit dark. There are lamps by the beds, but no overhead light for the whole room.
They said they only have double rooms, no singles, so if you're with a partner, you may end up sleeping separately.
The hotel is close to the interstate, but far from town. There's a Denny's and a gas station next door, but if you want anything else, it's a...
