⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t say enough about the kindness and grace shown to me by the owner of this hotel. I was a complete stranger, calling after driving 24 hours straight under extreme duress and coming off one of the hardest weeks of my year. She welcomed me with warmth and compassion that I’ll never forget.
I’m so glad I trusted the other reviews I read—this hotel exceeded all my expectations. I walked into a room that smelled amazing, was spotless from corner to corner, and had such a peaceful, welcoming energy. The floors were so clean I could walk barefoot without a trace of dirt. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve had in any hotel, the water pressure was perfect, and the aesthetic touches made it feel like a high-end space—yet the price was so affordable anyone could stay here.
I’m usually a bit of a hotel snob, sticking to three stars and up, but this experience went far beyond that. The drive out of town was worth every mile, and I have peace of mind knowing I supported a small business owner who truly cares for her guests.
If you’re even considering staying here—do it. You’ll leave feeling taken care of, rested, and grateful,...
Read moreI would not recommend booking here if you are coming in late. We booked via hotels.com and the check-in instructions indicated we would receive an access code. We received no email and upon arrival at 1:30am, there was no one at the front desk and a sign on the door saying to call a number to check in. We called the number 7x over 20 min and left a message. The doors to the lobby and to acess the hotel rooms were both unlocked and could be opened by anyone. It is now after 2am, and we are having to drive back down the road 15 min to a hotel that luckily did answer their phone and had an available room. This was extremely disappointing and disheartening after a 5.5 hour drive to attend an unexpected funeral. We are currently working with hotels.com to get a refund for the room we...
Read moreI travel a lot in the south. Last week I was in Petal, MS and stopped a little early for the night. Roadhouse diner has the best food, excellent drinks and service like the south is famous for. Walking next door to a newly renovated and updated motel was the icing on the cake. Clean, convenient and reasonably priced is what you get here. Stylish is a plus. Take a minute to meet the owner, Jessie Carter. You won’t regret it. Intelligent, articulate and a damn fine business woman. If you are within 30 miles of Petal, spend a half hour looking forward to getting to Roadhouse and when you get there, eat until your full, drink until your relaxed, then spend a restful night next door within walking distance. This place is on my new...
