Hillsong Heaven Cabin — Hotel in Pigeon Forge

McClure Family Vacation 2024 This cabin was perfect for our big family. (8 adults and 8 kids ages 10-1) The 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths were perfect for everyone to have their own space. I loved that we all had a place to sit and eat together. It was ideal for a big group. I guess the only downside was it has the view. O you can definitely see the mountains but there are a lot of trees around the back of the cabin so the view of the mountains are blocked a little and maybe some updates cookware, which I'm sure visitors don't always treat them nicely, the skillets stick pretty bad with scrambling eggs. Lol. But like I said it wasn't a deal breaker especially when you are looking for that size of a cabin on a budget. Kathryn was so easy to contact and talk too. We didn't have any issues so there was no need to text her while we were there but I did communicate with her a lot beforehand. Kathryn you do need to send me info on what kind of mattress that is in the Christmas Room!!! It was amazing! Hillsong Heaven was ideal for our family vacation with kids & grandkids (11 people). The cabin is obviously a labor of love for its owners. We were amazed at the level of detail to ensure everything is just right. The picturesque back porch provided a place for reflection & Bible study while later in the day the hot tub & fire pit were popular gathering places. The game room fueled our competitive spirits. Great experience, great view, ok location to town, awesome kick-off to any vacation. Had fun even staying in and playing games when it was raining.

The winding roads are a little annoying for those of us with motion sickness, and I can't imagine taking them with snow. The price is slightly on the high side, but if you share the price with a bunch of people and make it a group thing it's pretty similar or cheaper then a hotel. There's also bears, we never saw any, but there are bear proof containers and u shouldn't leave food in your car with the doors unlocked.
