The cobblestone Inn and suites in Pine Bluffs is the very close to the border between Nebraska and Wyoming. It is a relatively newly built hotel and the rooms are well designed and clean. There are some minor issues that can make a big difference if improved upon. The bathroom light was strobing which caused me a headache. It would have been nice if housekeeping had addressed that issue. This selection for the food in the refrigerator in their convenience store is very narrow—It has minimal healthy options The breakfast has also minimal healthy options there are some sugary yogurt in them and there is spices added to the scrambled egg, which is not optimal for everyone. On the plus side— there is a tea available 24 seven at the front desk and the staff is super friendly. As far as the location goes, the hotel is opposite a Sinclair gas station which has a store with basic items should one need them. There is also a dollar store about a block away. Also, the hotel is five minutes away drive from the Wyoming and Nebraska welcome signs—good photo...
Read moreThis is our family’s second stay at the Cobblestone and we were honestly looking forward to it! Our first stay was so nice we traveled a little extra just to make it back to this great location.
It’s very clean and everyone is so nice and accommodating. They offer a wide range of discounts so make sure to tell them who you are and what brings you through because they are happy to help. We have a pet that is welcome also.
Our breakfast was very good and there’s a great small town gathering atmosphere to the dining area. There’s laundry and gym available as well as a mini mart of foods and drinks in case you get in late but need a quick bite.
There is a really nice restaurant across the parking lot (with a very well cooked steak 🥩) and another just across the street as well as a bar and lounge down the street. Plenty of good food and a gas station....
Read moreBeautiful hotel and obviously well taken care of, but I cannot get over the fact that there is no ADA buttons on the entrance doors and no elevator. My mother and I had to struggle getting her medical supplies and our luggage in and we were just stared at by the attendants while they were chatting and one of them on their phone. My mother has medical issues and really isn’t supposed to be going up stairs. They aren’t horrible, I myself didn’t mind going up them, but I mind when my mom had to go up them. I mentioned this to the attendants up front and they just “ oh I’m sorry”, didn’t even offer to see if there was possibly a room available on the first floor or anything. I’m not sure if I’d ever stay here again.
FYI looked up the Wyoming “New lodging facilities” code and your building is out...
