Casino Motel — Hotel in Pocono Township

I booked a room here for a few nights, as I was passing through town. Rates were reasonable and the pictures were decent but arriving was a totally different story. Front desk was a wife and husband and at first they were nice although the room absolutely reeked of weed. First issue was the key didn't work, electric lock. That's fine. Husband came out and reprogrammed it with his phone and it worked. Security issue there and concerning. Upon entering, room was dingy to say the least. Dirty and the mattress was dirty. Floor was nice though. Idk. Curtains didn't close all the way, door was loose and there's a tiny chain lock. Absolutely not. Especially when the place looks seedy, my first thought was safety and it didn't even seem safe. Walls were dirty and dusty, leak stains up top. Towels in the bathroom didn't look fresh and the place was just shabby and the bed wasn't even comfortable and gross. I checked out that same night. Came back the next morning and the woman who was nice to me initially came out with an attitude after her husband came back to get her so I could get a receipt for my refund which was previously discussed the night before. She came out in a moo moo and no shoes, I guess they live back there?, told me no one called her and to take my paper work back and just gave me the nastiest attitude and disappeared behind the door. ??? New management sign is crazy because if this is it, good luck. I had put my key on the table and they didn't even ask or take them. Another lady came in to ask if they came out yet and I said yeah for a little. The husband came back out, at least he was nice, and I said, hey, just wanted to leave my key with you and not on the desk and he goes oh you could've just left it in the room. ? Idk man. Thanks for the hospitality initially but what a weird and bizarre interaction and the lack of customer service and appearance is wild. Do...

Well...we we're trying to go cheap to get away from our kids for a couple days and be at close to the casino as possible. This was close and the cheapest we could find. Worst bed I ever slept in. Mattress is hard as a rock. Shower curtain had mold on it. Cob webs in the ceiling corners and a big hole cut out of the wall that was attempted to be hidden behind the desk but was very visible...obviously we noticed it lol. Place is not very well lit. When we first got there no one was at the desk. We rang bells, waiting, rang more bells, waited...after 20 minutes I decided I'd call while standing in the lobby. Lol someone came from downstairs and finally checked us in. Not sure about breakfast, didn't partake. But ice machine was broken so I couldn't get ice. I guess the only pros would be that it was quiet...no one was there...I guess for obvious reasons. Plus it was close to the casino we were able to Uber there and back for like $7. And no bugs...I always double check before even bringing my stuff inside. We probably won't stay here ever again...especially since we would've only paid about $20-$30 more to stay in a holiday in or something....this place is definitely Iver proceed for what you get BUT if your looking for cheap and don't mind the above mentions it...

Well this motel doesn't have much that ACTUALLY works properly anymore...the drink and snack machines are broken and when we first got there the A/C in the 1st room was broke and so they had to switch our room and the 2nd room had a great A/C but then the TV was broke and it took several resets and a cable box switch out to work. But I can't complain because they were very helpful and very accommodating and the two guys who clean the rooms and I am guessing are the maintenance guys also were the saving grace because they were right on top of it and I had to go find the guys at least 4 or 5 times until everything worked right. But if it had not been for them and their willingness to get it right and not complain or make me feel like I was being a pest I probably would have been furious! But they made the whole experience pleasant and worth the trouble. So while it may not have been the most up to date and functional place, it was clean and the people were VERY kind and did their best to make everything better as quickly and as best they could. I would DEFINITELY stay there again. But I'll be sure check the A/C and TV immediately and remember to bring my own...
