Beautiful beach! Cons are that the staff is rude, everything is overpriced, staff and management cares about money more than the guests and members but do a great job at hiding it. You’re just a wallet to them. I still go here for the beach though.

Good food but not worth how much money they charge. They add on 20% tip to all food (etc) but never will let you know. The membership fee is absurd. They overprice everything because they know people will buy it anyway. A lot of places do that but they’re seriously money hungry here. I still go but for the beach only. Gym staff is dismissive and you won’t feel like you’re welcome there almost like they’re trying to shoo you away, food staff is okay for the most part, every receptionist is simply mean. They do not hold up to the promises they make here. It all starts with the management though.

Update 1/29/25 Gym staff continues to be rude and I feel very uncomfortable around them. Receptionist girls are notoriously mean even giving you bad looks when you come in. Ask anyone and they’ll say that too. From the over 20 people I’ve mentioned it to they have all agreed. Luckily they are renovating the place because they structural integrity of the place was terrible and that’s why they are just now upgrading it (at least it seems that way) but no one knew because they are great at covering up/hiding all their mistakes. Have to keep that money coming in somehow. The beach itself continues to be great but the staff continues to be miserable people. The people who open the door for you and greet you are always nice and very welcoming though so I greatly appreciate them and give them all 5 stars. The rest at this point gets 1 star. The gym staff that used to be nice has now gotten mean so that’s why I’m updating it. Showers are gross due to the grout being so dirty it’s gone black. I wouldn’t have noticed that the color of it wasn’t supposed to be like that until I saw the few spots that have been cleaned and are white. Either clean the whole thing or don’t because it’s obvious when little spots here and there are clean and the majority of it is nasty. Not all the staff is mean but it’s so annoying how most of them are. If they advertise they are a welcoming nice place then they should live up to that.

Update 5-19-25: Wow the front door opener people or whoever were rude as hell today. In the middle of asking one of the men a question while I was in the car in the middle of a conversation with him and the guy just took off and walked away. Wish I was just over exaggerating this but I’m not. We were both talking back and forth and it’s not like I paused or anything to make it seem like I was done with the conversation which would have been understandable but it wasn’t like that. Dude just took off. It’s so disappointing because they were the only employees here I considered being the “good ones” so because now I feel none of them are good I knocked the 4 stars I gave now down to 3 stars. I had the pleasure of staying at The Lodge and Club in Ponte Vedra on June 16th and 17th. I will first like to say it was everything to be expected in a 4 1/2 diamond resort. From the moment I arrived on the premises to the time I reached the room was seamless. Everyone was inviting and made me feel like I was at home. I took residence in one of the oceanfront suites; the room was immaculate and the view was breath-taking. I consider myself a food connoisseur so I was eager to try the food and it did not disappoint. First I visited the Oasis and I must say the food was excellent. I had some of the regular menu items such as the Shrimp Tacos and Calamari and Clams appetizer as well as one of the specials of the day Turkey Swiss melt. The presentation of the food matched the taste perfectly. My hats off to Chef Robert and his team for producing a great culinary experience. Ooh my Ryan at the O Bar made the best Virgin Daiquiri I have ever had. The Ambiance at the Sea view Grill was second to none and the food was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed the Steamed Salt Spring Mussels melt in your mouth good. The Prestige Farms Half Chicken and Bread Pudding dessert satisfied the palate. Late night room service was on point, it definitely satisfied the late night munches. All of the servers was great. The room attendant's kept my room refreshed. Wow! Just AMAZING! Let me start by saying this is definitely a 5 diamond restaurant, no detail is left behind. The staff are absolutely fantastic! Valet staff met us once and new us by name immediately, same for bar staff. Front desk staff, room service staff, housekeeping are all about hospitality. HOTEL SNOBS, I bet you cannot find anything wrong about this place!!!

The hotel room had a fireplace and the absolutely BEST view...My suggestion is to stay in room 426!!!! Trust me!

The food was delicious, the drinks were great!

Entertainment was phenomenal (blues and jazz) Friday night.

What am I missing? Not sure... but I will definitely make this a 1-2 time a year spot.

My husband and I were talking about it being better than a cruise.

My husband called room service and asked where the ice machine was located. The man said he would be right up to show him. He was there in like 30 seconds...when the ice machine was 25 feet from the door. I mean he could for just explained over the phone, but no! Like I said...

You will not be disappointed, and if you are somehow then you should just never leave your house because you're miserable.

Seriously, book this place! And again, ask for room 426 (second floor) or 326 (first floor) if that one is already taken.

P.s. I just checked availability for Labor Day weekend, yes THIS weekend, because we want to go back. However, the prices I believe are a little bit higher due to the holiday. :( BUT we...
