Went June 15, 2020 Day Use ONLY right now, must be out by 8pm. Drove up to see the Giant Redwoods for a week long camping trip and was met with logs across the roads to almost every camp. You can Day Use the pond at the Bulch camp ground but you have to leave by 8pm. What wasn't blocked completely off (Shake camp, Hidden Falls, ect) was closed and really didn't feel comfortable being there. Hendricks Pond was 'closed' but had a few 'day' people there. Sunset Point was empty but 'closed' so we really didn't want to try to stay there for the night (not much cover from rangers) so we kept driving toward Frasier Mill but the road to that camp was blocked by 3 redwood logs so we just kept going. It was getting dark and not really safe to drive back at this point so we just found a place off the side off the road to camp away from the road for the night but where we left the car could be seen from the road so a ranger looked for us in the AM and told us we had the rest of the day but because of Covid the forest is 'closed' and to be out by 8pm. We enjoyed what we could of the day (everything being blocked off we just stayed at our camp) and packed up around 6pm and left pretty disappointed and kind of wondering how the heck you can...

I love this place we have been camping here for years, its a good place to relax, fish, and just enjoy the scenery. My husband and I went camping this past Wednesday and Thursday, and for the first time in all the times we have been there, had neighbors screaming and yelling till late at night, both nights. They tell you quite time starts at 10: 00 pm. Oh and no fish, lol. We will return just venting about people that don't follow rules. It's a beautiful place hope it stays that way...for...

I went with a bunch of friends and it was great, the trail is pretty visible at night, once you get high up on the trails, the view is breathtaking. It’s pretty self explanatory about how to camp and where. We didn’t have any problems. They have a river if you can find it on the map, and I HIGHLY recommend!!! It was the best part of the trip for my friends and I! Look at the pics!...

Hard to get there, the roads are narrow and curvy but it is worth it! We went mid week so there wasn't many campers. The scenery is very beautiful and quiet. I can't wait to go again. We went on a couple of trails and fishing, the ponds might have fish but we didn't have any luck catching any. My kids loved there camping experience and ask about going again all the time.
