From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, it felt comfortable, and Jim was so patient and helpful with my multiple calls regarding changes to the dates prior to our stay last week. Cabin 7 was absolutely perfect for the two of us, but it could easily accommodate 4 comfortably and we were able to make great use of the kitchen, preparing meals to be enjoyed on the deck. The cabin was very clean and cozy, and Jim and Rosalie (hope I got that right) were so hospitable, setting out the fire pit for us to enjoy a toasty fire with our friends after our hike to the Sierra Lookout. I only wish we were able to bring our dogs, so we can hike with them while having an awesome place to relax after our adventures, but that won't affect our desire to stay here again many times in the future. A Perfect Stay for Adventure Seekers!

My husband and I recently stayed at The Buttes Resort in Sierra City, CA, and had a fantastic experience. We went up to spend the night on a Friday before an exciting day of mountain biking up to the Sierra Buttes Lookout from town. The cabin was comfortable, well-equipped, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay.

Jim & Rosa, the hosts, were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time exploring the charming town before our adventure day, which added to the overall experience. Although we checked out before heading out for the day, we found ourselves wishing we had booked a second night!
