Let me first say that this is my first visit to Split Rail RV Park and to Quartzsite, AZ for that matter. This is a very comfortable and friendly park to short stay in or winter over in as I have from Nov-Apr 2019-2020. I made many friends very easily and yet my site was completely private and respected. The management couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful when needed. The property owners were also here making many improvements and enhancements to the park and the amenities and they were also very friendly and jovial and easy-going. The improvements have included new restrooms with new showers and new tiling throughout. They have installed an updated WiFi system for everyone who needs it. There are large pull-thru sites for the big rigs even with tow behinds. They have done some landscape cleanup and improvements around the park. Also the park does have 50 AMP SERVICE although it is not listed. All sites are gravel and level for the most part (I haven’t seen anyone with blocking under their rigs). There is a large dog park just a couple of blocks away for those dogs that need to get out and run a bit. Want a movie to watch or a book to read? You won’t have any problem finding them here in the clubhouse. There is an entire wall filled with many DVDs and books to choose from. It’s also a great place to trade yours out or leave the ones you don’t need any longer. There are a lot of snowbirds here, a lot of fair and festival peeps here in Jan-Feb, but there always seems to be room for a few short term folks too. This is the first park you come to when coming into Quartzsite on Hwy 95 Southbound. I was here during the COVID-19 Quarantine In the Spring of 2020 when most of the businesses were closed, but the stores remained open for us and we all did ok. Quartzsite is a small community after the big RV Show in Jan-Feb and everyone wore their masks in public and kept their distance as required by the health authorities but still remained a friendly community through it all. Especially here at Split Rail RV Park, we all became like a family and were sad and concerned when someone would leave and try to travel home during this crisis. So you know under normal circumstances you can count on the staff and the regulars here to be friendly and accommodating if at all possible. I hope I have assured you of what a pleasant place to stay this is. I know I will be back next year for sure. See ya then.

This park offers level gravel pads with full hook ups. There are some long term/permanent residents. There are 2 modern, clean toilet shower suites which is enough with all full hook up sites. We never had to wait. The Wifi worked well and there is an activity room that includes a pretty large library of books and DVD’s. This is our third time at this park, returning to shop for beading supplies in town.

Made reservations given a group rate of $30 & the understanding I would have a pull thru. Upon arrival Eric told me they would not honor the group rate quoted but replied with a price of $45 & then said $35 a night. It was then shared they had no pull thrus and offered to help guide me into a back in-site that could have been a even tighter maneuver had the site next to me been occupied. Later upon reviewing the receipt I realized they had charged me $45. The park has a lot of long term stay rigs and few requirements concerning the condition of the unit or the how the sites are maintained. I decided to reduce my stay by one night and asked for a credit. Management said the computer was not logged into and told me they would process the credit the next day. I left and upon reviewing the credit it was only $30. Now that calculated out to me paying $50 per night instead of $35. I have called several times during normal business hours with it going to messages, no one returning my call or an additional credit to correct the issue. I have since asked the rally coordinator for help in resolving this issue so we will see. The bathroom, clubhouse and other common outdoor areas were kept clean. Eric was friendly in our dealings although has not followed thru with resolution or...

I'm pretty sure that you own Q view rv park also in Quartzsite and people are dying over there left and right and leaving their vehicle without any relatives to pick them up. Maybe you should consider making at least one of them a maintenance vehicle and try cleaning up the place 🤔 now that this old man that sold his other park Q View Rv to some young guys from Phoenix Q View is being cleaned up beautifully unlike this DUMP. WHOEVER IS THE JERK THAT STOLE THE RANGER FROM Q VIEW IN BROAD DAYLIGHT AND BROUGHT IT TO SPLIT RAIL IS GOING TO BE PROSECUTED ANY DAY NOW BECAUSE ITS ON SPLIT RAIL PROPERTY!!!! Beware of this place they are a bunch of Thieves! Furthermore the punk that followed me back over to Q View Rv park on a stolen Ranger didn't have any balls to confront me a firefighter from the state of Arizona. And believe me if he tries it again his next form of transportation will be a...
