Good evening,
I'm hoping I can get this handled accordingly before it has to get escalated. Our had to have all electric power and lines leading into our home. So we needed a hotel until our home is deemed safe. We booked a 2 night stay at your location in red oak, tx (conf#4864MO6469)..... it's not the closest location but I wanted to be in red oak tx because the town of red oak is a city with safer hotels..... or so I thought. We walk into our room..... ..... and immediately could smell marijuana..... strongly, as if it was just smoked in. The room itself appears as if the the door going into are room had been damaged.... the room key device is taped together with regular office type tap. The bathroom door appeared to recently been kicked in and broken, the microwave is damaged heavily on the outside again..... it looks to had been kicked in. The walls around the sink have numerous, what appears to be dried blood, all over. The bathroom has mold. Bathroom floor was disqusting, the outside of the tub is covered with Lord knows what. It's obvious the bedding wasn't changed because it smells. There are burn holes on the bedding. When we left we put the do not disturb sign out because I don't trust anyone especially at this location..... which seems really ghetto. When we got back to our room, we needed towels. I sent my oldest son down to the office to ask for some. I don't know the man's title in the office, his name is Harry (or at least that's what he said) and he was rude to my son and berated him. So, naturally, we went down there to figure what is the problem. We walked in apologized about the situation. Harry proceeded to get rude, disrespectful and highly unprofessional. Tobight, the room next to us were obviously on something, we hear the loud arguing and what sounded like things being tossed across the room. Just now, the toilet wasn't flushing So we called the front office to let them know and ask for a plunger and we were told to wait 20 minutes....... nothing has yet been done. I choose this motel because of the price and positive experiences I've encountered in the past. This has been the WORST experience EVER! Not just with motel 6, the WORST experience I've had at any motel. I almost forgot to mention.... the mini fridge has a horrible smell in it and there were condom wrappers on the floor as well. I truly hope that this situation can be rectified. I've...

We stayed here for not even a day over Fourth of July weekend, and when we arrived, we noticed the room looked like it had barely been cleaned. I ended up wiping everything down. Then we noticed our bedsheets had old blood and semen stains on them, which was a huge turn off. They looked like they had been washed, but the visible marks were still pretty gross. The toilet also didn't work, and when you looked at the bathtub, it looked like there were bloodstains on the side of it (we realized after looking closely that the stains were actually rust). Still, I was pretty unsettled by the appearance of the place, so I asked my boyfriend to look up reviews (we didn't look at them prior since someone else rented the room for our out-of-state visit). A majority of the reviews we saw talked about bedbugs, but one review that stood out to us was a review written a week before we stayed in the motel that mentioned stains in the bathtub extremely similar to what I had mentioned about our tub. This same review also mentioned glow in the dark writing on the walls, and when we finally turned off the lights, creepy writing appeared all over the ceiling and walls. I was so terrified, especially seeing that one of the phrases written by the TV said something along the lines of "GET AWAY." It was like a horror movie. We immediately packed up our things and tried to check out ASAP, but the front desk worker made it very difficult. He said he would get us a different room, which we didn't want to do, and when my boyfriend tried to show the guy the writing on the walls of our room to explain to him why we wanted to leave, he claimed he couldn't see anything...eventually he was finally able to agree with us that there was writing on the walls...after that, it took the guy about half an hour for him to check us out, and by the time we were able to leave, it was three in the morning. The fact that a review from a week prior to our stay mentioned the glow in the dark writing and nothing was done to fix it or clean it up is unacceptable...don't stay here unless you get joy out of fearing...
Read moreAt first glance the room seemed surprisingly nice for a pretty cheap motel room for a night, but then I quickly realized that the room I got had no mini-fridge, no microwave, and worst of all... It's AC/Heater unit heater on switch apparently ether was broken or just not supposed to be able to turn on at all, and last night was extremely cold in the room with no way to even try to warm up at all, and the blankets on the bed barely provided any kind of warmth at all during the whole night that I was so cold and uncomfortable and had no way to keep warm other than having to sit in the shower with the hot water running on me during the coldest parts of the night and then by that time it was already morning time and I didn't get any kind of actual rest last night because of the lack of proper heating in the room I had rented for the night....
Oh, another thing that kind of possibly been an issue with is, right away I saw at the top of the comforter on my bed seem to appear to be what might have been a old blood stain or possibly something that may have just really looked like a blood stain, but none the less still didn't really sit right with me at first glance....
And the last thing that could be considered as a inconvenience during my stay here, was the fact that once I had called the office to ask about my room not having a mini-fridge or microwave in it a d was told that I would have to completely switch to a different room that did have both of them in it after I had already gotten situated in the room I already had, I asked the person at the front desk about the ice machine and he told me where it was, but when I got to it the ice machine seemed to not be working for some unknown reason, and so on top of my room lacking it's mini-fridge and microwave, I also had no access to being able to have my beverages I brought to drink for the night, cold.... Nor was I able keep my food refrigerated through out the night....
But besides all that my stay overall was actually pretty nice, and I definitely plan on staying at this motel 6 again In...
