Another Edit: Updating my review based on the manager Christy coming in and getting things resolved. When I initially left the review they came out and fixed the outside issue and then about a week or so came back to fix the inside. Christy I believed just took over as the property manager as my issue was finally getting in motion to be resolved. She followed up after the inside was done to see how I liked the repairs. I told her it was subpar and a couple days later (I was out of town when she followed up) she came with maintenance to review with me and they got it fixed up very nicely. Her attention to ensuring everything was too standard turned a terrible situation into a nice so bad situation. Overall I've been here almost a year and that was my only real issue. The walls are thin (what apartments aren't though), however I had the luxury of being around quiet neighbors. The amenities they have here are unmatched compared to other properties in the Red Oak area. I love the dog spa the most because well got some place to clean my dog vs going somewhere. I never had issues getting my packages or them being stolen. I started to really enjoy and love my apartment after that issue was resolved and if I had to recommend a place I would recommend them now because they are really nice apartments and as long as Christy stays on as manager I don't see issues persisting as long as I dealt with. She really came in and got to work and I appreciate that. I no longer feel like it's the slums lol. Thanks Christy for turning my experience completely around! Is it worth the price now...YES! Emerson is in good hands now with Christy onboard!

Edited Review: After I made this review it seemed like I got some movement going with my water issue. It made me kind of excited because sheeesh finally getting this resolved after 7/8 months. I submitted the work order AGAIN back in like March and requested to not close it out until fully resolved. They closed the ticket after only fixing the outside. The inside of my apartment still has water damage and the ticket was closed. By far this is the worst apartments I've ever lived in. I've never had to deal with this type of issue, and if I ever needed something fix in my previous apartments it got done quickly and right. For these to be newly built and the problems they have...feels like living in the slums. I absolutely see why the turnover rate with people moving out is high. I cannot wait for my lease to be up. Changed from 2 stars to 1 stars.

I moved to this complex back in September as they were newly built and I loved the amenities being offered. My stay here has been ok but not great like I imagined considering the amount I pay for the apartment. My main concern is that I live in a unit that floods by the front door when it rains heavily and so my floorboards have water damage and I'm pretty sure mold in the walls as they have yet to fix the issue and it's May. I had my first big rainfall in October of 2023 and at the time I brought the issue to their attention. They put a band aid over the issue and told me they would get it resolved. It has not been resolved. The walls are thin but I'm fortunate enough to have my upstairs neighbors move which decreased a lot of the noise. I can hear the A/C unit of the upstairs apartment which makes it sound like my unit is on when it is not so that's frustrating because I don't want to hear a unit turning on and off unless it's mines. The noise I could deal with but the water is a major NO for me. I don't want health issues because of mold. This issue alone is the main reason why I would not release here. I had planned to stay for a while like my last residence but too much money being spent for a mediocre apartment. I honestly can't wait to move. I can pay less and have same features in my old apartments. I only left them because these were new but new vs old doesn't compare to the quality I was getting before...

I'm gonna start by saying this place is a beautiful, amazing, happy, professional, peaceful space. I have lived here for one year and a couple of months and time has flown by because of the amount of communion, care, & transparency that is provided by the illustrious team of Emerson at Red Oak. The vibe here is very progressive, organized, and comforting. They are very kind, polite and the service is top-tier day in and day out. Any questions, concerns, comments, suggestions, or inquiries that you may have as a tenant are taken into great consideration, listened to, and resolved in a professional and studious manner as every establishment should try to strive for. Being fair for both parties. This establishment knows what they're doing and will communicate everything to you through multiple means & always with a proper & attentive attitude for your comprehension. Aside from this as a member of the LGBTQ, it can be daunting to have to find a place you call home, feeling secure, stable & most importantly safe. That is no small task, especially due to the current state of our Nation, although I digress being I hate politics.

The epilogue of my experience here was a heartfelt one. I stumbled across this complex when I was in the market looking for a new upgraded apartment home and was pleased when the decision was clear. Everything I needed & wanted from my checklist was knocked out of the park. I wanted an attached garage, new appliances, good amenities, a simple morning drive to work, a long lease term, close proximity to necessities like grocery stores, pharmacies & restaurants, hardwood floors, a fitness area & most importantly a spacious closet for my wardrobe 💅🏾.

I applied with Ms. Sarah who gracefully took my concerns, questions, and budget into consideration and made sure I was comfortable, confident, and at peace with my choice of apartment from the wide selection I was shown. The application process was simple, easy, and painless emotionally & mentally allowing me a 1,2,3 process. This was crucial being I had just lost my Dad and was juggling putting him to rest as well as moving apartments within days of the same week. When I applied to Emerson I didn't know how much of a blessing and amazing time I would have coming home from a long day & decompressing in a newly built complex. Compared to my previous apartment home (No shade although Emerson is hard to beat at this point in time in my book.)

Ms. Christy is the new property manager and she has been a delightful treat to work with and create a business & sentimental relationship with. She makes that her mission & shows it with her actions that she truly cares about her tenants. She always has a smile on her face and greets you with a classy, but knowledgeable poise. Lastly but certainly not least is Ms. Daniella. From the day I met her, she has always radiated a cheerful, patient, trustworthy, honest, caring, respectful approach to her job & does her best as a key member of the resident team. They take you seriously and at face value and do their best to accommodate you as a tenant. I can honestly say that I am satisfied with my care thus far & I look forward to renewing my lease within the coming year, God willing.

Edit: I want to commend Valen and Sarah! Caleb was an amazing and attentive property manager! Antony I had an issue she personally saw to it that it was taken care of! Sarah has also been a great help. She always gets with a smile and makes sure residents are well taken care of. Awesome job. I’ve rented with several properties and they by far were the kindest. It should be said that MGMT has since changed since I left . So I cannot speak for property MGMT now.

Also I want to on end maintenance while I was on site Lalos and his team were awesome when I needed assistance with the MANY issues that arose while there.

The below does not take away from those above. My living experience was NOT the best but those in MGMT were very helpful in whatever way they could be. I couldn’t figure out how to write a separate review. For MGMT I give them 5 stars My experience overall was horrible…for the property and builder no stars. As relates to my experience as a renter. I will say this was by far the worst place I have lived. The aesthetics of this place is nice from outside looking in but was NIT at all worth what you will pay to stay. Appliance broke down a lot. Mind you I was the first renter in a new unit. My washer would jump when I washed clothes (you have to use on-site washer and dryer), there was no privacy in your units as you could hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do! And !!! The walls are so thin!! I had plumbing issues from month 1!! My water pressure in my kitchen and second bathroom consistently needed attention. When one problem got fixed the pressure in the other would become effected. I literally dealt with that until the day I moved out! I knew early on I would NOT be extending. My neighbors were straight from satan hisself rude, illiterate, and racist! Initially upon move in presented nice but a few months in things changed! So much so to were police got involved. I was physically attacked and therefore left. Not that the last part was any doing of MGMT but I no longer felt safe.

The build of these units are NOT thought out as they are literally right on top of each other. Anyone walking up to your unit can look inside and see everything if you open your door! Whistle this place is pleasing to the eye it is NOT a place to raise a family. This is more of a single person space if you don’t mind noise. You smell weed all day everyday and it was starting to lose the aesthic with all the people the people they lease to! It was turning into something else! Loud music and activities during quiet time! I do not recommend a moving here as a majority of leaders I spoke with before were having similar issues and NOT renewing! The builders built this place to fast and did not take into consideration those that would be residing there. You can tell the heart of man is all...
