The Rose Ranch is located in a great area, but the stay was very strange. When we arrived there wasn't anyone in the office or around to check us in. We called the phone number on the office door and reached a voice mail account. I left a message and then we waited.... After 20 minutes, I called the number again and finally reached someone. At the same time, a man pulled in and told us where our RV spot was. I got to the RV pull-through and noticed the electrical upright for our spot was bent and the cover was off the front of it (I noticed there were other spots with the same problem). I was still able to hook up and it seemed to function. Later that evening we needed some ice, so we went to the office again no one there. I grabbed a couple of bags of ice and tried for another couple of days to catch someone to pay for it. Finally, on the third morning, I found a guy in the office and paid for the ice. We had a pretty big rainstorm pass through on our last night there. I noticed our lights were pulsating in the trailer, my TV was acting weird, and my range lights were coming on and off. I figured I would unhook the electrical plug before my transfer switch was fried, and we went to bed. the next morning we left. I went to a few RV parks after that and never had the same electrical problem with the trailer. There needs to be some maintenance done this winter on the electrical system. I probably...
Read moreGreat🕐 at Rose Ranch. Rented sites 10 & 11 during Oct 17-22. It was our 2nd time here. The Rose is located at the mouth of Marysvale Canyon, the park traverses along Beaver Creek and a 1/4 mile from Hwy 89. Fall colors galore. We saw raptors and ubiquitous crows looking 4 food above as we sat outside our 5th wheel. They were along the Sevier River's convergence with Beaver Creek and toward Marysvale. On the trail from Marysvale to Hoover's, we observed a covey of quail, (Chukars) in a group of some 25-30 birds. Those who do not observe the speed limit (10mph) miss most opportunities to view the abundance of wildlife. The opening day of the general deer hunt began on 21st Oct., 2023. We did not trail ride those days. |Renting a SxS option closed on 10-17 for the season 10-15. Goin back in 2024|I love/hate to give positive reviews because it brings in more, and more, people to spoil everything... trash on the trails- mostly water bottles and beer cans. The owner, Nate, is a very nice guy who tries his best to be of help.|Rose Ranch has some 30 Polaris...
Read moreI liked the campground, we brought our own Razor and camp trailer, the camp spots were nice. The only bad parts of the experience were the amount of jack stickers in the gravel and the weeds were a pain. We kept tracking Jack stickers into our trailer, and our dogs kept getting them in their feet. The other bad thing was one of the owners I think, was an older lady, and she had a super small dog. I know the camp ground probably has a leash policy, but her dog wasn't leashed either. My dog his name is duke, he is super friendly, and isn't smart enough to bite someone. I thought her dog was gonna attack me. My dog went up to greet her dog and she picked her dog up and started yelling at my dog while her dog was snarling and not only trying to bite my dog but was trying to bite me. I picked my dog up and started to walk away and she was cussing me out even though she was standing there basically waiting for me to get my dog instead of just walking away. So if you bring you dogs to this camp ground just make sure you can see them...
