I stayed here for a month for work. First two weeks were no issue. Charged every Sunday, correct amount. A few days after I paid for the entire week, I was charged a random 200$. When asked why, they told me it was a computer glitch. I asked for the amount to be taken off my weekly stay next time I pay. Said that was no issue. Come that day, I am charged 100$ extra. I’m now out about 300$, and all they can tell me is that it was a computer glitch. Finally after a week, I get a refund. Not a couple hours later, they took the refund BACK out of my account! I had to fight to get it back. Another week later I receive the refund and lock my card. Now I begin to pay every 3 nights to avoid unauthorized charges. Every 3 days my charges have been different amounts! And when I paid one night and left to go up to my room, 10 minutes later I see on my phone they tried to charge me 30$! They could have told me there at the desk what I needed to be charged for and why. But they chose to do it after I walked away. I have contacted Wyndham and gotten no response, and the manager just says it’s a computer glitch every single time. This has been the most frustrating trip! I only wanted to pay for my room and go on about my day. My other coworkers are having the same exact problems about random amounts being charged and nothing being done about it. Something HAS to be done about this hotel/management. Please...
Read moreThis is the only Super 8 that's ever refused me the AAA discount, despite that I had my card in hand, ready to show. I actually used to work at a Super 8, and know that if you book through calling the hotel or through Wyndham, you are entitled to both an AAA discount (with card), and Wyndham rewards points & credits. As a Wyndham Rewards member, other hotels might randomly give me free perks, but this one actually kinda shafted me.
Room had no coffee or maker. There was a used, dried out washcloth hanging over the shower curtain. No sound on about 1/4 of the TV channels. Heater could use some fine tuning. The shower head looks like it doesn't get cleaned more than a couple times a year -- and that might be generous. Other than that, room was clean. Soap & supplies were fair or adequate.
They uphold the free Continental breakfast policy that Wyndham hotels are supposed to offer, at least.
Early morning staff was professional enough in responding to my husband's witnessing another guest being offered AAA discount after we were refused one. I'll have to contact Wyndham to see if we can resolve that issue.
All in all, this place isn't worth the $101 it charges on a normal, non-event weekday. I'd give a higher review if they charged a fair price or if they provided a room &...
Read moreI just got a job traveling for work. This is my first job. The first two weeks I was here I was charged both Sunday’s the correct amount. 539$.. Last week on a random day I was charged 179$ for no reason. When I asked why, they said it was a glitch in their system. I asked kindly for the amount to be taken off my weekly pay on Sunday. Said that was no issue. Then comes Sunday and I am charged 628$ … for WHAT!? I tell them I was already charged and now being overcharged.. what is the deal? Yet again “just a glitch” I asked for a refund and 3 days later get the overcharged refund back. An hour later I checked again. It was immediately taken BACK OUT. Now I am trying to get the refund back, and no one will answer me. I never write bad reviews let alone reviews at all. But this is INSANE. Not to mention in the last nearly 3 weeks now my room hasn’t been cleaned once. I get my own towels. This obviously isn’t a glitch. It’s not that hard to just charge people for their room and move on with your day. Quit stealing peoples money. I will get it back one way or another. If you’re looking for a long term stay, keep driving. I’m taking my butt...
