Shelton Fireworks — Local services in Rock Port

This place was very disappointing. The minute you enter the place you are greeted with a dark and dreary atmosphere. The smell of flash powder fills the air, but it's not good. Not once in the 40 minutes we were there did anyone offer to help. Fireworks were stacked in giant leaning towers, and I witnessed one fall on a women while I was browsing. Also many of the fireworks looked like that had been crushed. Some were improperly marked as having more shots on the label and didn't match the packaging. They also have this gimmick to give you more fireworks the more you spend, but I think it's just to make you go back and get more fireworks and go over the discount amount. I...

This is the place to get fireworks!!! We started out shopping all the Rockport shops a few years ago but this family run business gives us the most BANG for our buck! (Pun obviously intended) There's some dirty games being played by the fireworks outfit on the other side of the interstate but at Shelton they are super nice folks, very helpful and always willing to give us a great deal on our purchase. Amazing selection and great prices! Always open (even during a blizzard) and very helpful friendly staff. I purchased $120 worth, and the gentleman told me to go pick out $20 more of anything I want for free. 2 bricks of firecrackers, countless large to medium-sized bottle rockets, and 36 various aerial mortars.
