Sweetwater Events Complex Campground — Hotel in Rock Springs

Very limited spots in the winter!! We went thinking we’d have room to stretch out away from others since they have 1200 sites. Unfortunately they close most of them for the winter - there were about 40:50 available and half of those were in a sloped area. Others have mentioned the odd placement of the utilities…they weren’t kidding. We were not able to connect to power with our 50 ft cord because our rig is so long and we couldn’t back in...

It’s pretty basic camping on gravel/dirt, nothing special and not really worth $43. $25 seems more like an appropriate price. Water & sewer hookups plus 30 and 50 amp

The bath house was nice, each one is a private bath/shower combo, so that was really nice.

Dog park was great, well kept and perfect for the doggies. The caretakers were really nice too. I would stay here again if...

Very nice state fairground that gets very busy when major events are scheduled. It is a wonderful place to stay. Very friendly hosts. A bit dusty however because the entire area is gravel. Most all of the spots are full hookup with 50/50 amp or 30/50 amp spaces. Nice clean bath house with about 8 unisex...
