Anyone giving SWEC less than five stars for their RV "parks" is CRAY CRAY!

Pulled my RV through Rock Springs a few times now and was always afraid to stop overnight because, well, it's an events center with OVER a thousand RV spots and it would be a zoo. Right?

WRONG!!!

Maybe 50 or so rigs were there on a Saturday night; on Father's Day weekend. It is NOT an actual RV park, but rather an events center that has something like 1200 FULL HOOK-UP RV parking spaces in a well-lit gravel lit lot fairly close to the interstate where they will let you stop for about $30 a night when they don't have large events and have available space. CASH ONLY by the way. Pay the park caretaker on the way in! Just look online to see if they have anything going on or call them to ask.

If you're just passing through and need what appears to be a fairly safe spot for the evening, you'd be nuts to pass this place up. Did I mention the nice, large grassy dog park for our canine children? How about the free WiFi? Good water and clean 50 amp power? All of the above. For $30. Can't beat that!

Just remember to be a polite RV'er and don't cram up next to someone if you don't have to! There was a ton of space...

We went for frontier day on Jul 24th 2021 . Atmosphere was great and the rodeo was fun and redeemed the experience. However the food. Was. Terrible.

The lines just to get a hot dog were easily over a an hour and a half long! Lemonade? Hour long wait. Turkey Leg? Two hours long!! People were angry and so was I. Whoever they have running the concessions needs to be fired. Frontier days deserves better. The staff was incompetent, and often times just rude.

I also saw they let their fellow staff or even just friends cut ahead in lines! I waited an hour and a half for a pork sandwich, and I watched a guy working at the main food stand by the stadium give two of his friends pork sandwiches and corn and he didn't even charge him! That to me is unacceptable. Frontier days deserves better.

Go for the rodeo and shops. Skip the food. Not...

We were exhausted driving in 50 mile an hour winds and couldn’t seem to find a place for our forty foot motor home and of course we were towing our car. We went thru one town after another and everyone was full so I took a chance and called Sweetwater Events Complex. They were great. They had room. They saw that we had pushed to the max and gave us a spot so we didn’t even have to unhook. The hosts were wonderful and and there were lots of spaces. I think it is an unknown treasure. I know I am going to tell all of our Rv friends about it. Oh and it is so inexpensive, I was shocked For full hookups only $29.00. We will be back...
