We used to love staying at this hotel. People seemed great and we've stayed at least 8 or so times. Our kids have games in the area and this was our go to and we loved it. At some point we left a table in our room and according to staff this 40$ table just disappeared. We had had so many good days we decided to just let that $40 go and came back again despite it.... we had brought my bottle fed kitten before with permission and this time he left 5 claw marks now a chair. I felt bad about it but considering we were regulars gave them 1000s of $ over the years and even lost a nice portable table because they just took it.... they'd probably let it go....I was very wrong. They charged the account attached to our room god knows what. It was a gift to us to stay there and my mother refused to tell me what was charge because she new I would be even more upset. I know it was over 100. Absolutely a cheat and ridiculous they tried to claim that the chairs the cat scratch were new as if I hadn't already been staying here for over a year and knew better.... this was almost 2 years ago now but it hurt our family so much to be cheated by a place we otherwise were respectful of loyal to and loved. If we hadn't been regulars and we hadn't communicated about the kitten and we were just total randos who left serious damage that would be understandable....but that is not the case. We have not been back and will never come back. If the charge had been enough for a jar of Furniture polisher I would have happily been fine with that as well but these people told my mom they had to replace the chair they lied and exaggerated and...

Read moreOwner behaved rudely and bullied me. My daughter and I stayed here for an educational challenge at the Blind school for my grandson. The proprietor of this motel (I'm assuming, since he never introduced himself) stopped me twice, (so far) once as I was coming out of the room and once as I was walking back to the room. The first time was to tell me not to set anything on the microwave. (He had come in while we were gone and moved my grandsons things from the microwave to outside on the windowsill. The second time he stopped me was to berate me for a bit of pancake syrup spill on the corner of the bedspread. (About .5 inch by about 1.5 inch spot) I apologized and tried to walk away but he stepped in front of me blocking my way and proceeded to repeat himself (several times) about the syrup and saying, I needed to take care of the kids better and "No more syrup!" I was cordial, much more than I felt. Definitely did Not feel like a welcome guest! My advice... Do not stay here if you have children or if you tend to spill things. Also just a note. You cannot control the temp in the room. Thick shag carpet. (allergy...
